Construction is near fully topping out 0n Society Wynwood, a 10-story mixed-use development at 2431 Northwest 2nd Avenue in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Designed by MKDA and developed by a joint venture partnership between national developer Property Markets Group and Canada-based private equity firm Greybrook Realty Partners, the 680,873-square-foot structure will have 318 residential units, over 50,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, and over 200 parking spaces. John Moriarty & Associates is the project’s general contractor, located between Northwest 24th and 25th Streets.

Miami-based real estate firm Location Ventures has broken ground on URBIN Miami Beach, a 7-story mixed-use development located at 1260 Washington Avenue in South Beach, Miami Beach. The milestone marks the construction commencement for the mixed-use brand that unites design-forward residences for short- or long-term rental with co-working spaces, wellness amenities, social activations, and lifestyle-oriented retail, all in one central address. On November 15, Location Ventures, development partners, and city officials gathered at the project site for the official groundbreaking ceremony. First Tower For Edgewater Collective Surpasses Podium Levels At 2000 Biscayne Boulevard In Edgewater, Miami

Construction has surpassed the podium levels on the first phase of the Edgewater Collective, a three-towered mixed-use development underway on the western frontage of Biscayne Boulevard abutting Northeast 19th and 20th Streets in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Fort Lauderdale-based Dorsky + Yue International Architecture and developed by a joint venture between New York-based real estate developer Kushner Companies and Miami-based PTM Partners under the 2000 Biscayne Property Owner LLC, the mixed-use structure is on its way up to an approximate 418-foot pinnacle spread across 36 floors and will contain 637,485 square feet of space including 393 rental apartments, 4,569 square feet of ground floor commercial space, and a parking garage. Balfour Beatty Construction is the general contractor for the development, which is addressed as 2000 Biscayne Boulevard.

Electra America, a real estate private equity firm, along with its U.S.-affiliate, American Landmark, and BH Group, a Miami-based private real estate investment, and development firm, has unveiled preliminary plans for the redevelopment and revitalization of the Southland Mall in Cutler Bay, located at 20505 South Dixie Highway, approximately 20 miles south of downtown Miami. The 80-acre, $1 billion redevelopment will be one of the most significant projects of its kind in the Southeast and be called Southplace City Center, designed and master planned by MSA Architects Inc. with Insite Studio as the landscape architect, Kimley Horn as the civil/traffic engineer, CPH for retail consulting, and Florida Economic Advisors for economic consulting.
