Developed by Ytech and designed by ACPV Architects in collaboration with Arquitectonica and Magnusson Klemencic Associates as the structural engineer, the 70-story tower—billed as the world’s first high-rise partially powered by solar energy—is set to rise 861 feet over Miami’s Financial District. John Moriarty & Associates is the general contractor.

Related Group, Miami-Dade County Housing & Community Development, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools have announced the grand opening of Magnus Brickell, a newly completed, 29-story mixed-income residential tower located at 201 SW 10th Street in Brickell, Miami. The tower introduces 465 new rental residences and stands as the largest single-phase mixed-income residential development ever completed on the East Coast.

Atlanta-based Wood Partners is constructing a multi-family housing development in Southwest Florida. Palmetto (with some sources calling it Altera Palmetto) will comprise 246 units in four stories, offering a mix of one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans.

Construction continues on the transformation of One Broadway, a 37-story tower located at 1451 South Miami Avenue in Brickell. Originally completed in 2005 as a condominium and short-term rental building, the structure is undergoing a complete redevelopment, with the potential rebranding to La Mare Hotel & Residences Brickell Miami. The redevelopment is being led by Park Place at Brickell LLC and Amkin with Nicolas Alfonso as Owner Rep., with design by Barcelona-based Barcelo-Balanzo Arquitectes and Form Group, Inc. serving as the architect of record with Youssef Hachem Consulting Engineering as the structural engineer. Strategic Group is the general contractor and PTE Systems International, LLC is supplying post tension materials.

Gainesville-based The Collier Companies is working on a multi-family housing development that will offer 360 homes in Pasco County. Construction started on Verve Wesley Chapel (not to be confused with VERVE Orlando) in the fourth quarter of 2024, with pre-leasing anticipated later this year.
