75-Story Baccarat Residences Miami Will Begin Vertical Construction This Fall

Vertical construction is expected to begin this fall for Baccarat Residences Miami, a 75-story luxury condominium tower planned for 99 Southeast 5th Street in Brickell, Miami’s Financial District. Designed by Miami-based international architecture firm Arquitectonica and developed by Related Group in collaboration with French luxury brand and fine crystal manufacturer Baccarat, the 848-foot-tall superstructure will yield approximately 806,326 square feet of space including 318 condominium residences, 8 penthouses, 28 riverfront flats and duplexes, 73,000 square feet of amenities and a 10,000-square-foot waterfront ground floor restaurant. New York City-based Meyer Davis is handling interiors and Enzo Enea is the landscape architect. John Moriarty and Associates of Florida Inc. is the general contractor.

Related Group Proposes 167-Unit Mixed-Income Residential Project In Little Havana, Miami

Related Group recently filed plans for Gallery at Marti Park, a 12-story mixed-income development proposed for 450 Southwest 5th Street in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. Designed by Doral-based CMA Architects, the project aims at providing high quality housing for low income households at 30% and 80% of AMI as well as market rate households. Plans call for 167 residential units in a mix of one- and two-bedroom floor plans ranging between 622 and 850 square feet, of which 85 will set aside for low income housing, and a 5,200-square-foot community center.

YIMBY recently went to check out views of construction from above Miami Worldcenter (MWC), a 27-acre world-class mixed-use development under construction in the Park West district of Downtown Miami. The $4 billion development, led and master planned by Miami Worldcenter Associates, a joint venture between master developers Art Falcone, Nitin Motwani and CIM Group, spans 10-blocks and includes immense residential, hotel, office and retail spaces across multiple buildings. The development stretches as far as Northeast 2nd Avenue on the east, Northwest 1st Avenue on the west, Northeast 11th Street on the north and Northeast 6th Street on the south.
