Fairstead has completed a $17.7 million rehabilitation of Lauderhill Point, a 176-unit affordable housing community located at 3146 NW 19th Street in Lauderhill, within the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metropolitan area. A ribbon-cutting and community day event was held on August 13 to mark the milestone, with residents joined by local elected officials including Lauderhill Mayor Denise Grant, Commissioners Melissa Dunn, John Hodgson, and Richard Campbell, as well as City Manager Kennie Hobbs and Assistant Manager Sean Henderson.

Construction permits are in the works for a mid-rise mixed-used development in Miami’s evolving Wynwood neighborhood.

Alchemy Properties, in partnership with Breakers Capital and Galapagos Global Capital Management LLC, has announced plans for a 12-story mixed-use development at 18 Northwest 23rd Street in Miami’s Wynwood District. The project, first acquired in 2022 for $18 million, will mark Alchemy’s entrance into the Miami condominium market.

The former site of the Louis Palms Mobile Home Park in Largo is slated for a community with some affordable housing. The Park Vista Apartments would feature 74 units in four stories.

Terra and Sympatico Real Estate have closed on a $285 million construction loan for Mr. C Hotel & Residences West Palm Beach and announced that the project has officially broken ground. Financing was provided by TYKO Capital, marking a major milestone as construction begins with the development already 70 percent sold. Aztec Group represented the borrowers in the transaction.
