Permits Filed For The Crosby Miami Worldcenter At 601 North Miami Avenue

New construction permits have been filed for The Crosby Miami Worldcenter, a 33-story residential building slated for the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter 10-block mixed-use complex in Park West, Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by Related Group and Merrimac Ventures under the DT G Block LLC, the 376-foot-tall will yield 450 fully finished and furnished condominium units spread across 387,355 square feet with interiors by AvroKO, as well as 3,370 square feet of general retail space. Beauchamp Construction Co., Inc. is the general contractor for the project, which is addressed as 601 North Miami Avenue.

EDEN West Tops Out At 8501 W. McNab Road In Tamarac, Florida

Construction has topped off on EDEN West, two residential buildings located at 8501 West McNab Road in Tamarac, Florida. Designed by MSA Architects and developed by CE Tamarac LLC, a joint venture between Cypress Equity Investments and EDEN Multifamily led by developers Jay Jacobson and Jay Massirman, the 4-story structures will yield 212 garden-style multifamily units, a robust amenity offering and 360 parking spaces on 6.24-acres of land between Northwest 70th Street, North Pine Island Road and West McNab Road. ANF Group, Inc., the project’s general contractor, first broke ground in the Spring of 2021, and is expected to complete construction in Q4 of 2022.

River Rapids Could Offer 593 Apartments at 2750 Northwest South River Drive, Miami, Florida

A former trailer park in Miami-Dade County could soon find new life as River Rapids, a 593-unit apartment complex. Homes would span from studios to three-bedroom units, with some homes featuring dens. Square footage ranges from 540 square feet to 1,300 square feet.

Related Group Acquires 6-Acre Assemblage In Tampa, Plans Mixed-Use Development With 1,079 Units Along Hillsborough River

Earlier this month, Miami-based real estate developer and acclaimed condo king Related Group purchased a 6-acre assemblage west of the Hillsborough River in Tampa for just over $55 million from Hillsborough River Realty Corp. The recently acquired assemblage comprises 4 parcels of land and includes a 2.19-acre site at 102 South Parker Street, a 1.83-acre site at 101 South Parker Street, a 1.75-acre site at 108 Cedar Avenue and a .53-acre site at 110 Keller Avenue, totaling 274,428 square feet of floor area. Related plans on transforming the property into a massive mixed-use development with multiple buildings and yielding 1,079 residential units, 32,760 square feet of retail space and as many as 10 boat slips. The property sits south of Related’s Arabelle Riverwalk apartment complex and across the river from Downtown Tampa.

The Osceola County Frito-Lay Fulfillment Center Planned for South Poinciana Boulevard and Old Tampa Highway, Kissimmee, Florida

In 2018, Frito-Lay had plans for a massive snack fulfillment center in Osceola County. However, after various setbacks, it decided to table the project for another time. Now, as of August 2022, developers have plans for a $180 million fulfillment center that will require more than 350,000 square feet of new construction.

Miami Beach City Commission Votes In Favor Of The Gardens At Lincoln Lane

The City Commission of Miami Beach voted 5-1 in favor of The Gardens at Lincoln Lane, a low-rise mixed-use development slated for South Beach that will comprise just under 130,000 square feet of Class-A office space, 25,000 square feet of street-level retail, and more than 425 easily accessible parking spaces. The project is designed by Brandon Haw Architecture, along with West 8 Urban Design & Landscape Architecture, and includes a 6-story building on a 0.9-acre lot at 1680 Lenox Avenue, and an 8-story building nearby on a 1.1-acre lot at 1080 Lincoln Lane North in the Lincoln Road District. The Gardens at Lincoln Lane is a joint venture between Starwood Capital Group, Integra Investments and The Comras Company, and the project now moves on to the November ballot, which will seek voter approval.

Olea eTown to Offer 192 Units at 11385 Exchange Street, Jacksonville, Florida, 32256

RangeWater Real Estate, a Georgia-based developer, has plans for a residential housing development in Duval County. The venture’s website notes that Olea eTown will be its most walkable development, offering 192 units for residents over 55 years old.

LF Development Files Plans For Two Towers With 600 Residential Units In Fontainebleau, Florida

Miami Lakes-based real estate developer and general contracting firm LF Development, through an affiliate entity listed as Combo Group Holdings LLC, filed plans for Fontainebleau Apartments II, a two-towered multifamily development of 10 and 19 stories proposed to rise atop 4.03-acres of backfilled land in Fontainebleau, Florida. Designed by Coral Gables-based Valle Valle & Partners, the property would yield 600 residential units across both towers, a 5,200-square-foot convenience retail component and 957 parking spaces, including 20 handicap spaces and 147 spaces for electric vehicles. Witkin Hults + Partners is the landscape architect, and the engineering team is comprised of Solver Engineering, Zamora & Associates and Fineline Engineers, Inc.
