A now-vacant parcel in Hollywood, Florida, will soon find new life as a 22-story residential venture. One Hollywood Residences will feature 248 units ranging from 517 to 1,425 square feet, with construction expected to start next summer.
The Allen Morris Company, led by Allen and Spencer Morris, has received commission approval for their luxury condominium project, Ponce Park Residences, slated for development in Coral Gables. Located at 3000 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, at the intersection with University Drive, this development is poised to become a significant architectural addition to the city. The project, designed by John Cunningham, Managing Principal of Zyscovich’s Orlando office in Winter Park, Florida, and known for his work on the Alhambra Towers, features Mediterranean architectural influences and integrates an active pedestrian arcade leading to a new city park. On May 21, the city commission unanimously voted 5-0 in favor of the project.
Construction is complete on Aston Martin Residences, a 66-story residential building at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way in downtown Miami. Located at the mouth of the Miami River, this milestone was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Coto family, Aston Martin executives, Buenos Aires-based architect Rodolfo Miani from Bodas Miani Anger, leaders from Cervera Real Estate, and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. The event marked the culmination of nearly a decade of development, with the tower now officially open and housing 391 condominiums. Projections suggest a sellout value exceeding $1 billion.
Winmar Construction has initiated the foundation pour for The Avenue Hotel & Residences Coral Gables, a project developed by Roger Development Group. This Coral Gables-based, family-owned real estate development and management company is led by President & CEO Oscar Roger, Sr., alongside CFO Oscar Roger, Jr., who joined the company in 2013 and continues the family tradition of development and real estate services in Florida and internationally. The development, designed by Bermello Ajamil & Partners and inspired by the City of Light, comprises an eight-story building with 48 residences and a dynamic mix of ground-floor retail spaces.
