Dynasty Financial Partners Selected To Redevelop 2-Acre Site Near Tropicana Field In St. Petersburg

Last November, the City of St. Petersburg issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the redevelopment of a 2.02-acre site near Tropicana Field in the Intown Redevelopment Area. The RFP was issued following an unsolicited offer by New York City-based developer Atlas Real Estate Partners. Outgoing Mayor Rick Kriseman has selected Dynasty Financial Partners to purchase the property for $6.25 million, which is specifically located at 910 2nd Avenue South and is comprised of nearly 88,000 square feet. The property is bound by Dr. M.L.K. Jr. St. S on the east, 3rd Ave. S. to the south, 10th St. S. to the west and 2nd Ave. S. to the north, and was previously being utilized as a parking lot leased to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Development Review Commission Approves Kolter Group’s 41-Story Tower At 200 Central Avenue In St. Petersburg

Delray Beach-based developer Kolter Group is moving forward with the plans for project at 200 Central Avenue, a 41-story mixed-use building planned to rise on an existing grade-level parking lot in Downtown St. Petersburg. Despite some hesitation with the overall design, the city’s Development Review Commission ultimately gave the green light for project and site plan modifications requesting floor area ratio bonuses. Designed by SB Architects, the firm behind the design of Kolter’s One St. Petersburg and Saltaire towers, the structure will rise approximately 480-feet including the decorative crown, and yield 248 residential units, 6,100 square feet of ground floor retail, and 482 parking spaces.

A 15-Story Mixed-Use Development With 260 Units Is Proposed Near Downtown St. Petersburg

The Development Review Commission of St. Petersburg is scheduled to review a proposal for Tuxedo Court, a 15-story mixed-use building projected to rise on the northeast corner of 4th Avenue South and 8th Street South near the Downtown area. The 180-foot-tall structure is designed by Kansas-based LK Architecture and being developed by White/Peterman Properties Inc., and would yield 260 residential units across two contemporary towers, and 2,700 square feet of ground floor retail. Although still subject to change, the property is currently addressed as 720 Charles Court South.

Kolter Group Plans Another 41-Story Luxury Condo Tower In Downtown St. Petersburg

The developer behind two of St. Petersburg tallest towers, the 41-story One St. Petersburg and the under construction 35-story Saltaire, has announced plans to develop yet another project that is to fall within the ranks of the city’s tallest. Delray Beach-based Kolter Group is proposing a 41-story mixed-use building nearby at 200 Central Avenue, designed by SB Architects, the same architect that designed the aforementioned developments. The structure is projected to rise 450-feet, topped with a 30-foot-tall decorative crown, and yield 248 residential units, 6,100 square feet of ground floor retail, and 482 parking spaces.
