31-Story Midtown 7 Gets FAA Approval To Rise 352 Feet Above Ground In Midtown Miami

Midtown 7, a 31-story mixed-use building planned at  3001 Northeast 1st Avenue in Midtown Miami, has recently received height approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is progressing in the permitting process. According to a determination letter issued on May 22, the tower is approved to rise to a maximum height of 352 feet above ground, or 367 feet above sea level. The FAA letter lists the developer as PPF AMLI 3001 NE 1st Avenue, LLC, an affiliate of AMLI Residential.

FAA Permits Issued For 39-Story Mixed-Use Tower At 128 SW 7th Street In Brickell, Miami

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued permits for a 39-story mixed-use building planned at 128 Southwest 7th Street in Miami’s Brickell financial district. Designed by Gensler, developed by Focus Development Inc (Focus) and tentatively dubbed Miami Starlite, the development is projected to yield 685,710 square feet of space. This includes 517 residential units, 8,282 square feet of retail space, and indoor parking for over 500 vehicles. Focus acquired the site for $28 million in November 2022. Previously the location of Brickell’s former Starlite East Motel, the property is a thru-block site with frontage on Southwest 8th Street and bound by the AC Miami Hotel on the east and the City Heights apartment tower on the west.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued permits for One Park Tower by Turnberry (One Park Tower), a 33-story residential development under construction at 2411 Laguna Circle within the 184-acre master-planned community of SoLé Mia in North Miami. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by the Aventura-based Turnberry, the 370-foot-tall structure will sit south of the community’s 7-acre lagoon and east of SoLé Mia Way. Groundbreaking occurred in January for the tower, projected to yield 869,000 square feet, including 299 condominium residences.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted approval for 2900 Terrace, a 38-story mixed-use development planned at 401 Northeast 29th Street in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami. These permits, approved on January 2 and set to expire on July 2, 2025, mark a significant step forward for the project. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by LNDMRK Development and Oak Row Equities, the building can reach 390 feet above ground level or 399 feet above mean sea level. An aeronautical study by the FAA confirmed that the structure adheres to obstruction standards and will not pose a hazard to air navigation.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved building permits for 1242 Channelside Drive, a mixed-use development planned by Stamford, Connecticut-based Post Road Group in collaboration with VeLa Development Partners in Tampa’s Channel District. The FAA has authorized the project to reach 390 feet above ground, or 403 feet above mean sea level. The permit application was submitted on October 2 and received approval on November 21. The developers will retain the permits until May 21, 2025.
