Hyatt And Gencom Get Approval For 3-Tower Miami Riverbridge With 64% Of City Voters In Favor

Developers Hyatt Hotel Corp. and Gencom have gotten approval for the redevelopment of the 4.2-acre city-owned site at 400 Southeast 2nd Street in Downtown Miami. The November 8 referendum resulted in 64% of city voters in favor of the three-towered mixed-use development set to replace the aging Hyatt Regency Miami and James L. Knight Convention Center. Designed by Arquitectonica, the project will yield two towers of 61-stories and a 95-story supertall containing over 1,500 residential units, a flagship 615-room Hyatt Regency, 264 branded and serviced apartments 190,000 square feet of Class-A meeting and events space, 20,000 square feet of coworking space, 12,000 square feet of food and beverage/retail space, 50,000 square feet of open public space, 1,100 parking spaces, and a 480-foot-long rejuvenated riverwalk.

On Thursday, October 27, New York and Miami-based Aria Development Group, in partnership with AQARAT, one of Kuwait’s leading real estate companies, celebrated the grand opening of YotelPad Miami with a party-themed all things 305. Located 227 Northeast 2nd Street in the heart of Downtown Miami, the stylish 31-story mixed-use project, designed by Stantec, was the first new construction condominium in the area to offer buyers the option to rent out their units for short-term stays without restrictions. New construction permits have been filed for Lofty Brickell, a 42-story, riverfront mixed-use high-rise planned for 99 Southwest 7th Street in Brickell, Miami. Located just steps from Brickell City Centre, the building is designed by internationally acclaimed architecture firm Arquitectonica with carefully curated interiors by design firm INC and landscaping by Urban Robot Associates, and is being developed by Newgard Development Group (Newgard). According to October 19 filing, the 574-foot-tall development is projected to yield 619,200 square feet of space including 362 residential units, which would come in a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom residences ranging between 436 to 985 square feet. Although the application is in the pre-screeing phase, Newgard has selected JV Americaribe-Moriarty JV, a joint venture between the construction firms Americaribe and John Moriarty & Associates, as the general contractor.

New construction permits have been filed for Casa Bella by B&B Italia, a 55-story residential condominium building planned for 1400 Biscayne Boulevard in the northern section of Miami’s downtown corridor, just south of Edgewater. Designed by Arquitectonica with landscape architecture from Enzo Enea and developed between real estate developers Related Group and Alta Developers, the 648-foot-tall development will comprise 312 luxury residential units ranging from one to four bedrooms sized between 711 to 2,187 square feet, including select marquee penthouses ranging from 2,605 to 5,890 square feet. Units will feature stunningly-designed interiors by Lissoni New York in collaboration with high-end Italian furniture company B&B Italia. Coastal Construction is listed as the general contractor.

Foundation work has begun for The Residences at 400 Central, a 46-story mixed-use building at 400 Central Avenue in Downtown St. Petersburg. Slated to become the city’s tallest building, the 515-foot-tall structure is designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica with interiors by Celano Design Studio and is being developed by New York City-based Red Apple Real Estate, led by John Catsimatidis. The project will yield 1.3 million square feet of space including 301 residential units, 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, retail and restaurant space, Class A office space, and a rooftop observatory with a view from Tampa Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. This first stage of foundation construction is expected to be completed in the next few months, and vertical constriction is expected to begin in early 2023.

Ytech Announces 70-Story First-Ever Solar-Powered High-Rise ‘The Residences At 1428 Brickell’

Miami-based real estate development firm Ytech, led by Yamal Yidios, has announced The Residences at 1428 Brickell, a 70-story luxury condominium development planned for 1428 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Italian architecture firm ACPV ARCHITECTS, the building will be the first-ever high-rise residential tower using solar energy, comprised of a limited collection of 189 fully-finished residences with two- to four-bedroom plus den units ranging from 1,800 to 4,000 square feet, and a penthouse collection of units ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet. John Moriarty Associates, one of the country’s most prolific luxury condominium builders, has been selected as the general contractor. The award-winning engineering firm Cosentini Associates has been chosen as the property’s expert solar energy consultant. Cervera Real Estate serves as the sales team representing the property.

Alchemy ABR-Investment Partners Acquires Wynwood Development Site For 12-Story Luxury Residential Project

Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners (Alchemy) a fully integrated New York-based real estate development and investment firm, announced the acquisition of 18 NW 23rd Street in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. The 36,079-square-foot property was purchased by Alchemy for $18,000,000 in a deal that closed on September 29, 2022. The mixed-use site will be developed into a 12-story luxury residential building with 186 units, multiple retail spaces, and a parking garage. Local architects Arquitectonica and MKDA have been commissioned to design the building with construction commencing in 2024.

One West Palm Could Finish Completion in 2023 at 550 North Quadrille Boulevard, West Palm Beach, Florida

McNamara Salvia Structural Engineers reports that One West Palm is close to completion. The mixed-use development will offer two 30-story towers, measuring 426 feet each.
