Turnberry Proposes 14-Story Office Building Beside Aventura Mall And Near Upcoming Brightline Station

Turnberry Associates, the developer behind the Turnberry Ocean Club Residences in Sunny Isles Beach and the upcoming Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, has filed plans for Two Turnberry, a 14-story glass-clad Class-A office tower proposed for 2750 Northeast 199th Street near Aventura Mall and the new Aventura Brightline Station currently under construction. The development would connect the Aventura Mall to the Brightline station via a pedestrian bridge crossing over Biscayne Boulevard and Dixie Highway.Designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica, the building would include approximately 240,000 square feet office space, 20,000 square feet of retail space, a 20,000-square-foot landscaped amenity deck and 720 parking spaces.

Demolition Permits Filed For 30 Northeast 39th Street In Miami’s Design District

Total demolition permits have been filed for a single-story building at 30 Northeast 39th Street in Miami’s Design District. The 6,232-square-foot structure was built in 1920 according to property records, and was used as a commercial building with retail purposes. The interior lot spans 6,756 square feet and is located on the northeast corner of the block, bound by NE 39th St. on the North and NE Miami Ct. on the West. This parcel of land, along with the 14,434-square-foot parcel 3825 N. Miami Ave. on the northwest corner of the block, will eventually make way for The Ursa, a 15-story Class-A office building designed by Arquitectonica and developed by Sun King LLC, an entity affiliated with Design District real estate developer Dacra led by CEO and President Craig Robins. The development was originally proposed to yield 180,000 square feet of leasable office space and 6,800 square feet of ground floor retail with museum-quality exterior public art and interior art curated by Daniel Arsham.

Grand Hyatt Miami Beach At 1701 Convention Center Drive Slated For Completion By November 2025

Construction is expected to commence in the Spring of 2023 for the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, a 17-story hotel and commercial development planned for 1701 Convention Center Drive in City Center, Miami Beach. Designed by Arquitectonica with EoA  and Stonehill Taylor as the interior designers and developed by MB Mixed Use Development, LLC, a joint venture between real estate developers Terra Group and Turnberry Associates, the development is projected to yield 702,607 square feet of space including 800 hotel rooms, 90,000 square feet of indoor meeting/conference space across 4 floors and 10,000 square feet of outdoor meeting space, 15,000 square feet of retail space, 5 food and beverage outlets and 320 parking spaces. Miami and Los Angeles-based Americaribe is the general contractor; Hyatt Hotels Corporation will manage operations at the property.
