Melo Group Launches Sales Of Twin 62-Story Aria Reserve Miami

Recently, YIMBY posted on a pair of twin towers previously known as Island Bay proposed by the Melo Group, one of the most active high-end residential real estate developers in all of Miami. Just days later, the developer has officially launched sales on the south tower of the project, now officially known as Aria Reserve Miami, which is set to rise on 5-acres of land addressed as 700 Northeast 24th Street in Edgewater, Miami. The floor count has been bumped up to 62-stories and the towers should rise to 649-feet above sea level, granting the development the title of the tallest waterfront residential twin buildings in the country, yielding a total of 782 residences.

Developers Terra Group, lead by David Martin and GFO Investments, lead by Russel Galbut, have started sales on their upcoming condo tower titled Five Park, a 48-story skyscraper that will soon hold the title of the tallest building in all of Miami Beach. Addressed as 500 Alton Road, the structure is anticipated to rise 519-feet, towering over the entrance to South Beach. Designed by Arquitectonica with Gabellini Sheppard handling interiors, the development will yield approximately 278 residences and nearly 40,000 square feet of amenities.

The Melo Group, one of Miami’s the most active high-end real estate developers, has their eyes set on the redevelopment of 3.68 acres of land spanning several blocks beside Biscayne Bay in Edgewater. In August of 2019, the developer unveiled plans for Island Bay, two twin 60-story mixed-use towers featuring designs by non other than Arquitectonica, and both reaching a structural height of 637-feet. The site of the proposal is addressed as 700 Northeast 24th Street, which includes approximately 168,262 square feet of total area across 24 parcels.

Pompano Beach’s Development Review Committee is currently reviewing applications for 900 North Ocean Boulevard, a 21-story mixed-use tower proposed in Pompano Beach. Designed by renown architectural firm Arquitectonica, the building is planned to rise to a structural height of 243-feet and yield 470,691 gross square feet, 119 dwelling units, 2,207 square feet of commercial space and 232 parking spaces. The interior lot is bounded by NE 10th Street to the north, HWY 1A1 (N Ocean Blvd) to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Miami-based Related Group is the owner of the application listed under an affiliate company titled PRH 900 North Ocean LLC.
