An In-Depth Look At The Design Of Kobi Karp’s 26-Story Selene Oceanfront Residences Planned For Fort Lauderdale Beach

YIMBY spotted a new series of exterior and interior renderings depicting Selene Oceanfront Residences, Kobi Karp’s upcoming two-tower luxury residential development at 151 North Seabreeze Boulevard in Central Beach, Fort Lauderdale. The slender curved glass-clad structures are slated to rise 26-stories each, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway, nestled in between Alhambra Street and Sebastian Street on the north and south and North Birch Road to the west. Palm Beach County-based Kolter Urban is developing the 196-unit project, which is expected to break ground this November and projecting to yield sprawling two and three-bedroom for-sale residences, an opulent outdoor amenity deck and a 5300-square-foot oceanfront restaurant venue. At 300-feet above sea level, the pair of towers will become the tallest structures along Fort Lauderdale Beach.

240-Unit Mixed-Use Development Proposed To Rise 12-Stories In Flagler Village, Fort Lauderdale

A site plan application has been filed with Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee (DRC) for a 12-story mixed-use building at approximately 333 Northeast 6th Street (Sistrunk Boulevard) titled Advantis Station at Flagler Village. Designed by Kendall-based MSA Architects, the 131-foot-tall proposed structure is located  between Northeast 3rd Avenue and Northeast 4th Avenue, occupying nearly half the block with Northeast 7th Street on the north. Prospect Real Estate Group LLC, managed by Richard G. Zahn, is listed as the owner behind the application.

Bank Of America Provides $84 Million Construction Loan For Fort Lauderdale’s Upcoming Second Tallest Tower

Construction financing has been attained for Fort Lauderdale’s upcoming second tallest tower RD Las Olas, a 47-story mixed-use building planned to rise 494-feet above ground, or 499-feet above sea level, addressed as 201 South Federal Highway and 227 South Federal Highway in Las Olas. Bank Of America is providing an $84 million loan to prominent Coconut Grove-based developer the Related Group, working under an affiliate company referred to as RD East Las Olas LLC, to build the tower. CFE Architects is listed as the design architect, with Moriarty Construction as the general contractor.
