Miami’s Building Department has issued excavation permits for One Brickell Tower II, a 47-story multifamily building planned for 77 Southeast 5th Street in Brickell, Miami. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by the Related Group, the 478-foot-tall skyscraper will have 720,101 square feet of space including 506 apartments. The development represents one of three towers that are expected to rise on Related’s 3.9-acre One Brickell site, which includes the highly anticipated 73-story Baccarat condo tower and an even taller 82-story tower combining hotel and residential uses. John Moriarty & Associates is listed as the general contractor and Enea Garden Design Inc. is the landscape architect.
Kast Construction has started building a new 22-story tower in West Palm Beach, Florida. The venture will comprise 459 class A residential units on a 1.39-acre lot.
ANF Group, Inc., a full-service construction firm providing construction management, general contracting, development, and design-build services to the South Florida market, has announced the topping out of The Kavista, a 282-unit, eight-story residential development designed by Modis Architects located in the Village of El Portal neighborhood in Miami-Dade County. JLL Capital Markets arranged construction financing for The Kavista; Trez Capital originated the $60 million construction loan. JGR Construction is the structural contractor.
A Tao-branded hotel is coming to Orlando, Florida. The $175 million venture is expected to finish construction in 2025. According to PR Newswire, the venture will serve as an anchor for the upcoming O-Town West, a 350-acre mixed-use project.
