In June 2021, we reported on what was later dubbed “Legacy 36,” an eight-story housing development unfolding in Miami-Dade County. Now, developers have proposed a second venture: Legacy 37. The venture will rest on a 2.27-acre plot on the west side of the same property that hosts Legacy 36.
Coral Rock Development Group, based in Coral Gables, FL, has announced the development of Card Sound Key Apartments, a multi-unit housing project designed by Pascual, Perez, Kiliddjian, Starr (PPKS) & Associates located in Florida City. The complex will offer 342 rental units in one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans, with six four-story buildings providing a mix of workforce and market-rate housing.
Plans have been filed to redevelop a 0.71-acre assemblage near the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Metrorail train station in Brownsville, Miami-Dade County. Designed by Miami-based architecture firm Modis Architects and developed by WN Development, LLC, led by Claudio Nigro, the proposed 7-story development would replace an existing one-story structure located at 2390 Northwest 62nd Street, between Northwest 24th Avenue and Northwest 23rd Court. The location is currently designated for commercial land use and falls within the boundaries of the Model City Urban Center mixed-use corridor, while the building would offer 1,876 square feet of retail space and 105 dwelling units, with 47 surface parking spaces for retail and residential purposes.
The Miami Beach Design Review Board approved plans for a townhome project in South Florida. The four-story building will comprise seven two-bedroom homes.
Miami Gardens City Center is scheduled for completion by 2025. The 35-acre project will offer “720 apartments, 270 hotel rooms, 234,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, and two 800-space parking garages.”
