Hollywood-based Blue Monster Investments, LLC, has requested an Administrative Site Plan Review (ASPR) for 4875 Northwest 22nd Avenue, a 10-story building of primarily residential use planned in Model City, Miami-Dade County. Designed by Plana International led by Boca Raton-based architect Jaime Plana, the 131-foot-tall structure is proposed to yield an approximate total of 31,039 square feet of space including 36 dwelling units, just under 773 square feet of commercial space, and 6 parking spaces. Construkom USA is listed as the applicant’s representative for the project.

13th Floor Investments Files Plans For 17-Story Mixed-Use Tower Near Aventura, Florida

Miami-based developer 13th Floor Investments, under the 13th Floor Acquisitions, LLC, has filed plans for a 17-story mixed-use building at 19680 and 19770 West Dixie Highway in the Ojus neighborhood of Miami-Dade County, near Aventura. Designed by Corwil Architects, the nearly 190-foot-tall structure would yield 561,775 square feet of space including 350 multifamily residential units, approximately 5,300 square feet of ground floor retail, and 545 parking spaces with 20% designated for electric vehicle charging. The property is located just west of Aventura Mall and steps away from the new Brightline Aventura Station.

A December 14 filing shows FAA permits have been filed for work on 222, a two-towered 43-story mixed-use development planned for a 1.26-acre site at 222 Northeast 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami, Designed by Behar Font & Partners with De Los Reyes Engineering, Inc. as the structural engineer and developed by Great Neck, NY-based Namdar Group, the development is planned to yield a combined 1,320,144 square feet of space, including 1,394 residential units, 7,984 square feet of ground floor commercial space, a parking garage for 336 vehicles, and racks for 1,394 bicycles. Witkin Hults + Partners is the landscape architect, TWR Engineers is the MEP engineer, and Grāef is the civil engineer. John Moriarty & Associates is listed as the general contractor.

Congressman Carlos Gimenez and Mayors Daniella Levine Cava, Scott Singer, and Howard Weinburg were joined by officials from the City of Boca, the City of Aventura, Miami-Dade County, and Brightline executives to officially launch the highly-anticipated opening of the two new stations. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved and issued building permits to developer JDS Development Group (JDS) for 888, a 1,049-foot supertall mixed-use skyscraper planned for 888 Brickell Avenue in the heart of Miami’s Brickell financial district. Designed by Studio Sofield with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record, the 81-story tower is expected to yield 1,178,568 square feet of new space, including 259 residential units, 52,144 square feet of health/fitness, 38,727 square feet of food and beverage, and 273 parking spaces operated by a valet.
