Two Connected Transit-Oriented Mixed-Use Towers Proposed For 9180 & 9200 S. Dixie Highway In Dadeland, Florida

Ocean Dadeland, LLC, a joint venture partnership between Miami Lakes-based real estate investment firm Florida Value Partners (FVP) and Bay Harbor Islands-based Atlantic Pacific Companies (Atlantic Pacific), filed plans with Miami-Dade County to redevelop 1.02 acres of property at 9180 and 9200 South Dixie Highway in Dadeland. Designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects with Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect, plans call for two connected mixed-use towers of 20 and 25 stories that would collectively yield 780,703 square feet of space including 500 multifamily residential units, 4,851 square feet of ground floor retail, and 668 parking spaces. The towers would rise 318 and 280 feet and would be connected by a bridge designed to provide a free flow of light and air from east to west.

FAA Filings Reveal A Pair Of Towers Proposed To Rise 685-Feet In Brickell

A September 23 filing with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reveals building permit applications for two 685-foot-tall buildings. Located along the eastern frontage of Southwest 2nd Avenue between Southwest 8th and 9th Streets in Brickell, the structures would rise 699 feet above sea level and would occupy the western third of the city block. The property is owned by Millennium Developments of Brickell LLC, an affiliate of the prominent Coto Family of Argentina and Aston Martin Residences developer G&G Business Developments, spanning nearly 0.93 acres including four parcels of land addressed as 161 and 195 Southwest 9th Street, and 190 Southwest 8th Street.

29-Story Gallery At West Brickell Breaks Ground At 201 SW 10th Street In West Brickell, Miami

Related Urban Development Group, the affordable housing arm of Related Group, Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade County Public Schools celebrated the groundbreaking of the 29-story Gallery at West Brickell on Wednesday, September 21. The event commemorated the start of construction on the third Gallery-branded property, attracting many notable people, including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava; Miami-Dade County District 5 Commissioner Eileen Higgins; Miami-Dade County Public Housing Director Michael Liu; Related CEO Jorge M. Perez among others. The 304-foot-tall project is located at 201 Southwest 10th Street in  West Brickell, Miami. It will offer 465 mixed-income units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments with 163 units reserved for workforce housing, 302 market-rate units, 2,240 square feet of office space, 2.338 square feet of retail space, and 529 parking spaces.
