501 First Miami is a luxury, high-rise tower unfolding in Miami-Dade County. Although construction hasn’t started yet, the project’s gaining a lot of traction, with developers having submitted building permits for approval earlier this month.
An application has been filed requesting Design Review Approval for the construction of a new five-story mixed-use building at 1920 Alton Road in South Beach, Miami Beach. Designed by Gensler and developed by Alton Office Holdings II, LLC, the project would consist of approximately 25,223 square feet of Class A office space, approximately 8,284 square feet of ground floor restaurant space, 13,271 square feet of residential space split across three units, and a screened-in parking garage with 45 spaces on the second level of the building. Kimley-Horn is listed as the landscape architect and civil engineer.
General contractors hope to break ground on Tal Aventura in late 2023, a luxury residential venture located in Aventura, FL. As of October 3, 2022, developers had secured conditional approval from city officials. If all goes according to plan, future residents could move in 2025.
In September 2022, South Miami city officials approved “Edge at SoMi,” a residential community featuring 311 apartments. Homes will measure 622 square feet to 1,185 square feet each, comprising one-bedroom to multi-bedroom layout plans.
North Miami Ventures LLC hopes to move forward with NoMi Square, an $118 million venture slated for Miami Shores, Florida. The South Florida Business Journal reports that the owner acquired the 7.6-acre site for $4.5 million last year.
