Related Group And Metro1 Secure $73 Million Construction Financing From Cerberus For 248-Unit Wynwood 29 Mixed-Use Development

The Related Group and Miami-based real estate firm Metro1 have secured $72.8 million in construction financing from New York City’s Cerberus Capital Management to develop an upcoming mixed-use project dubbed Wynwood 29, a two-building development of 8 and 12 stories planned to yield a combined 248 dwelling units accompanied by 26,651 square feet of retail space and 372 parking spaces. The subject properties are addressed as 2828 Northwest 1st Avenue and 2819 Northwest 1st Avenue, encompassing two parcels of land between Northwest 28th and 29th Streets in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District in Miami. Arquitectonica is credited as the design architect for the development.

Mast Capital Submits Application For Design Review Approval Of The 8-Story 3900 Alton Road Residential Development

Miami real estate developer Mast Capital has submitted an application for design review approval of the new 8-story multi-family residential development proposed for 3900 Alton Road located in the Bayshore neighborhood of Miami Beach. Michael Larkin and a few other attorneys of Bercow Radell Fernandez Larkin & Tapanes represent M 4000 Alton Owner, LLC in the application. The 197,780-square-foot structure will yield 176 residential units, 6,060 square feet of amenities, and 254 covered parking spaces while rising approximately 85-feet. Bernardo Fort-Brescia, co-founder of renown architectural firm Arquitectonica, is leading the design for the project with Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect.

The Related Group Applies For Air Park Obstruction Permit To Build 243-Foot-Tall Condo Tower At 900 N Ocean Blvd In Pompano Beach

The City of Pompano Beach’s Planning and Zoning has received an application from Keith and Associates, Inc. on behalf of the Related Group for an Air Park Obstruction Permit to build a 243-foot-tall condo tower above sea level. This project is one we’ve covered before, which is planned to rise 21-stories and addressed as 900 North Ocean Boulevard intersecting with Northeast 10th Street and facing the Atlantic Ocean. The developer has selected world-class architectural firm Arquitectonica to design the 470,691-square-foot tower which should yield 119 dwelling units, 2,207 square feet of commercial space and 232 parking spaces.

Berkowitz Development Group, lead by Jeff Berkowitz, has announced the cancellation of their plans to build Skyrise Miami, a 1,049-foot-tall entertainment and observation tower that was planned to rise beside Bayside Marketplace along Biscayne Bay. Having been an extremely controversial tower for district, the developer had been planning for the development for nearly a decade, attempting to add a striking and skyline-impacting tower to Downtown Miami’s cityscape. Designed by Arquitectonica, Skyrise Miami was going to feature various attractions such as Skyplunge, Skydrop, Skyrise Flying Theater, multiple types of observation decks and event and meetings spaces as well.

NATIIVO Prepares To Go Vertical As FAA Approves Two Tower Cranes For 601 NE 1st Avenue

The Federal Aviation Administration has granted approvals for the installation and use of four tower construction cranes at 601 Northeast 1st Avenue, the address for the upcoming NATIIVO, a 51-story, 588-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper set to rise on the northeast corner of NE 1st Avenue and NE 6th Street in Downtown Miami. The tower is designed by Arquitectonica with interiors being handled by Urban Robot Associates, and developed by Sixth Street Miami Partners LLC which is owned by the Galbut Family. The tower is expected to yield 932,839 square feet of space and intends to service the home-sharing and short-term-rental industry.
