Legacy Miami Worldcenter Gets Height Increase Approval From The FAA

The Kobi Karp-designed Legacy Miami Worldcenter has recieved an increase in height as per a recent determination by the Federal Aviation Administration. The developer now has permission to build approximately 20-feet higher than the original approval, from 661-feet to 680-feet. When factoring in the elevation of the site, the total height above sea level increases from 671-feet to 691-feet. Addressed as 930 Northeast 1st Avenue, the tower will rise to become the second tallest structure at the mega development behind Paramount Miami Worldcenter. Royal Palm Companies is the developer of the project, where units are 100% sold out.

Missoni Baia has now officially topped out at 649-feet above sea level in Edgewater, Miami. The 57-story luxury residential skyscraper is designed by Hani Rashid of Asymptote Architecture and developed by OKO Group with Cain International as an investment partner. The property has an impressive 200-feet of frontage along Biscayne Bay, addressed as 777 Northeast 26th Terrace and will consist of 249 thoughtfully-designed  residences with Paris Forino handling interiors.

Topped-Out Society Biscayne’s Glass Façade Installation Progresses In Downtown Miami

Glass façade installation is steadily progressing on the now topped-out Society Biscayne, a 49-story mixed-use skyscraper at 400 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects and developed by Property Markets Group in collaboration with Greybrook Realty Partners, the 571-foot-tall structure is one of several to recently rise along Biscayne Boulevard, and will bring a mixture of residential units, office spaces, a church, ground floor retail and a parking garage, while offering sweeping views of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach and Downtown’s cityscape.

Florida’s Current Tallest Skyscraper: The 85-Story Panorama Tower In Brickell, Miami

Back in 2018, the city of Miami had reached a new milestone in skyscraper construction with the completion of the Panorama Tower, an 85-story mixed-use building standing 868-feet over Brickell. Designed by Kobi Karp with Moshe Cosicher of the AIA as the architect of record, and developed Florida East Coast Realty led by Tibor Hollo,  the structure currently holds the title for tallest in the state of Florida and also the tallest residential building south of New York City, surpassing the Four Seasons Hotel Miami which held the title from 2003 to 2017.
