A vacant 0.36-acre lot could soon be home to a mixed-use venture in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Developer Jaimito Ventures LLC owns the property, having purchased it for $625,000 in February.

This prime real estate, nestled within the heart of the vibrant Miami Worldcenter, is preparing to welcome three towers spanning as many as 57 floors, marking a testament to the city’s evolving architectural landscape.
The Related Group and Merrimac Ventures have successfully secured a substantial $94.2 million in funding for the vertical construction of The Crosby, which is poised to add more density to the ongoing developments at Miami Worldcenter. The residential tower is set to ascend 33 stories high and is expected to top off at around 377 feet above ground, or 390 feet above sea level, according to building permits filed with the FAA in January. The Arkansas-based Bank OZK provided the loan to DT G Block LLC, a joint venture entity affiliated with the developers. Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and AVRO|KO is in charge of the architectural design and interiors of the project, respectively. The Crosby, which broke ground earlier this year, is slated to offer 450 fully furnished, ready-to-rent residences and 3,370 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
Ora by Casa Tua, a 76-story mixed-use skyscraper planned for 1210 Brickell Avenue in the heart of Miami’s bustling Brickell financial district, is set to go before Miami’s Urban Development Review Board on May 17. Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by m2atelier and developed by Fortune International Group, the tower is set to rise 930 feet, replacing an existing 7-story parking garage. The project would yield roughly 1.3 million square feet, including 540 residential units, 53,841 square feet of office space, 24,260 square feet of commercial space, 955 car parking spaces, and 1,980 bike parking spaces, all on the 1.06-acre site.
