Miami-based Developer MV Real Estate Holdings (MVREH) and Coral Gables-based hospitality investment firm Driftwood Capital are pleased to announce Riverside Wharf, a $185 million – 200,000-square-foot hospitality-driven entertainment complex situated along the edges of the historic Miami River in Downtown Miami. Located at 114 Southwest North River Drive beside the I-95, the development is comprised of two 10-story towers that will offer a fully immersive Miami experience anchored by the highly amenitized 165-key Dream Miami luxury hotel by the internationally renowned Dream Hotel Group. The complex will represent the rebirth and expansion of existing The Wharf Miami, adding in 16,000 square feet of signature restaurants, a 12,000-square-foot event hall, a world-class 30,000-square-foot nightclub and rooftop day club, and a private marina capable of accommodating mega yachts.

Construction Advances On Aria Reserve Sales Center; Permits Initiated For 649-Foot-Tall South Tower In Edgewater, Miami

YIMBY checked in on the progress of the sales center under construction at the development site for Melo Group’s upcoming Aria Reserve, a luxury residential project comprised of twin 62-story towers at 700 Northeast 24th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica, both structures will rise 649-feet along Biscayne Bay and yield a combined 782 condominiums featuring interiors by MORADA Haute Furniture Boutique and landscaping by ArquitectonicaGEO. The sales center is being constructed at 725 Northeast 24th Street by the developer’s in-house contractor, Melo Contractors Corp, and should span 3,116 square feet upon completion.

Royal Palm Companies Secures $340 Million In Construction Financing For Legacy Hotel & Residences

Dania Beach-based real estate developer Royal Palm Companies has landed a massive $340 million construction loan from New York City-based Silverstein Capital Partners for Legacy Hotel & Residences, a 51-story mixed-use building planned for 938 Northeast 1st Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter master-planned development. The loan marks the third largest financing package executed in the state of Florida, and will allow for the vertical construction of the 690-foot-tall structure projected to yield nearly 1 million square feet. Renowned Miami architect Kobi Karp designed the modern Art-Deco inspired tower, and will feature interiors by ID & Design International.

Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami Unveils Sky Collection

The developers of Miami’s upcoming first supertall skyscraper have unveiled the Sky Collection of residences at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences, a 1,049-foot-tall mixed-use development planned to rise 100 stories at 300 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. The tower’s design features 9 offset glass cubes stacked upon one another, designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Carlos Ott for developers Property Markets Group (PMG), Greybrook Realty Partners, Mohari Hospitality and S2 Development. The Sky Collection is comprised of 40 luxurious residences featuring interiors designed by award-winning California-based design firm BAMO, priced from $4.9 million.
