Mast Capital Plans To Replace La Costa Condos With A 19-Story Residential Tower At 5333 Collins Avenue In Miami Beach

Miami-based developer Mast Capital, led by Camilo Miguel Jr., is planning to build a 19-story luxury condo tower at 5333 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, the site of the recently evacuated La Costa of Miami Beach Condos. The new building is projected to yield approximately 318,000 square feet of space including 100 residential units, 183 parking spots and offering unobstructed views of the oceanfront. According to The Real Deal, the developer has tapped OMA to design the building with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record.

The Adler Group has submitted an application to the Urban Development Review Board seeking site plan approvals for Nexus Riverside, a 36-story multi-family residential tower proposed for 230 Southwest 3rd Street at the 3-acre Riverside Center project in Downtown Miami. The first phase of the development is this 376-foot-tall residential tower, which according to the application, will now yield 428 dwelling units and related amenities, as well as a 505-vehicle parking garage and 3,631 square feet of ground floor retail.

An new application is under review by Miami’s Urban Development Review Board seeking approvals to develop Ambienta Brickell, an 8-story mixed-use building proposed to rise at 3025 Southwest 3rd Avenue and 3051 Southwest 3rd Avenue just south of Brickell in the Coral Way neighborhood of Miami. Designed by renown design firm Revuelta Architecture International and developed by Chile-based Ambienta Inmobiliaria – listed as Ambienta Brickell Corporation- the plans for the development call for a 102,817-square-foot structure that will yield 79 residential units, 1,195 square feet of office space, 912 square feet of ground floor retail and 120 parking spots.

Utilities Deal Signed For Lalezarian Properties’ 53-Story Miami World Tower At Miami Worldcenter

A utilities deal was recently signed between Kevin Lalezarian, on behalf of Miami World Towers LLC, and Miami-Dade County, to connect the proposed 53-story Miami World Tower to the city’s water and sewage system. As per the agreement, the first phase of the development, which is designed by NBWW Architects, will include 565 residential units and a 3,000-square-foot full service restaurant venue. The City of Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has received an application seeking warrants, waivers and approvals for the development of Merrick Towers, two 20-story mixed-use buildings that will yield a combined 387,568 square feet of space at 3898 Shipping Avenue. Designed by Atelier305 and developed by 3898 Shipping Avenue LLC, the two structures will rise to approximately 226-feet, and will consist of 268 residential units, 32,300 square feet of office space and 6,342 square feet of ground floor retail. The property is located near Coconut Grove at the intersection of Shipping Avenue and Southwest 39th Avenue, and is within walking distance of the Douglas Road Metrorail Station and the Shop at Merrick Park.
