Miami Springs Town Center is still undergoing construction in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The South Florida Business Journal reports that originally, developers intended to start vertical construction in early 2020. Then Covid-19 happened. Now that the project’s back on track (thanks to a $14.7 million construction loan), it’s nearing completion.
MG Developers hopes to start construction on Merrick Parc, a multi-million-dollar residential complex in Miami, Florida. It purchased the 43,785-square-foot site for $19 million. If approved, the development will offer two 20-story buildings.
Wynwood Urby is a multi-million-dollar mixed-use venture coming to Miami-Dade County, Florida. Both Ironstate Development and Brookfield Properties have partnered on the venture. The eight-story building comprises more than 370,000 square feet of new construction, featuring over 280 residential units.
Denver-based real estate developer AIMCO has filed plans to Miami-Dade County planners requesting a shoreline review for a 60-story residential tower in Edgewater. The building would be located across the street from Hamilton on the Bay, also owned by AIMCO, occupying several parcels of land between 560 – 640 Northeast 34th Street. Plans call for the development of a 650-foot-tall structure with 241 dwelling units, 4,696 square feet of commercial space for a restaurant and a new 8-story parking garage for 380 vehicles. Stantec is both the architect and civil engineer. Kimley-Horn is the traffic engineer. Urvanx is the interior designer of record and landscaping will be handled by MAKwork.
RCC Developers hopes to start construction on a new mixed-use project in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It acquired the 1.17-acre site for $850,000 in 2021. There are no structures on the build site, so plans do not call for demolition.
