Sirrom Commercial hopes to move one step closer to accomplishing 1435 ArtXchange, a mixed-use project in Fort Lauderdale. The city’s Community Development Agency (CRA) board will consider a $6 million forgivable loan May 21st.
Tampa Bay City Living is moving forward with an upscale eight-unit townhome development near St. Petersburg’s EDGE district. The unnamed development will comprise three-bedroom residences measuring 2,400 square feet each.
Villa Pass, a modular home complex, is currently under construction in Mascotte, Florida. Ground broke on May 3rd, with Texas-based Onx Homes leading the venture. It purchased the 40-acre build site for $15 million in 2023.
Construction has started on Wellspring Apartments, a senior housing development in Opa-locka. The six-story building will offer 99 residences: seven studios, 81 one-bedroom units, and 11 two-bedroom units.
Fort Lauderdale-based Green Mills Group hopes to move forward with Peace Village, a four-story affordable housing development for residents 55-plus. The community would offer 104 apartments aimed at those making 70 percent of the area median income (AMI).
