Tampa-based real estate developer Strategic Property Partners (SPP) officially announced the opening of Thousand & One, a 20-story Class-A commercial office tower located at 1001 Water Street within the nearly 74-acre – $3.5 billion Water Street Tampa mega-development in Downtown Tampa. Designed by New York City’s COOKFOX Architects, the building yields 375,000 square feet of office space and 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, being the first trophy office tower to rise in the city in nearly 30 years. The subject property’s interior lot is generally located across the street from the Tampa EDITION and the Heron Residences, bounded by the intersection between Water Street with Channelside Drive, and Raybon Court to the north.
MAA Robinson Apartments, which commenced construction in the first quarter of 2020, is nearing completion. The Orlando-area residence will rise 11 stories above grade and feature 383 residential units, per the Construction Journal.
