RPC Files Notice Of Commencement For 691-Foot-Tall Legacy Miami Worldcenter

Ground-breaking is imminent on the site of the 691-foot-tall Legacy Miami Worldcenter, a 50-story luxury mixed-use skyscraper set to rise at 930 Northwest 1st Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter mega-development in the Parkwest neighborhood of Downtown Miami. Designed by Miami-based architect Kobi Karp and developed by Royal Palm Companies (RPC), the tower is expected to yield 310 condominium units, 220 hotel rooms and over 100,000 square feet of space dedicated to wellness. Moss & Associates is listed as the general contractor for the project.

The Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed Heron at Water Street Tampa is a duo-tower mixed-use building of 21 and 26 stories located at 815 Water Street within the 56-acre Water Street Tampa mega-development in Downtown Tampa. Developed by Strategic Property Partners (SPP), a joint venture between Jeff Vinik, the current owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Cascade Investment LLC, an entity owned by Bill Gates, the superstructure rises to approximately 247-feet (west tower) and 312-feet (east tower) and conveniently positioned near the waterfront. This component of the mega-development completed and opened to the public earlier this year, yielding 420 luxury rental apartments and approximately 53,000 square feet of ground floor retail.

Designed by OMA New York with ODP Architecture & Designed listed as the architect of record and developed by Camilo Miguel Jr’s Mast Capital, the structure’s roofline should rise to 213-feet overlooking Indian Creek and the Atlantic Ocean, and yield 381,121 gross square feet including 246,906 square feet of residential space across 100 condo units, 183 parking spaces and nearly 23,000 square feet of amenities.

New renderings have been released for Magic City Innovation District, a massive multi-building transit-oriented mixed-use mega-development planned for Little Haiti in Miami.
