12|12 Aventura is unfolding in Aventura, FL. The Real Deal reports that developers secured an $83.8 million construction loan on the mixed-use venture, which will reach completion by 2023.
Another supertall skyscraper has been proposed for Miami, this time at 888 Brickell Avenue in the city’s Financial District. Prominent New York City-based developer JDS Development Group and restaurant and hospitality company Major Food Group are teaming up to develop Major, a 1,049-foot-tall mixed-use developmentwith the goal of building “the most luxurious residential tower in the world”. The building would rise on a 22,568-square-foot lot at the southeast corner of Southeast 10th Street and Brickell Avenue, and would replace an existing 7-story office building built in 1972. Plans for the supertall include developing 259 condominiums, hospitality spaces, and various restaurants.
Two Roads Development and Alpha Blue Ventures have landed a $121.5 million construction loan for the development of Forté, a 24-story waterfront luxury condominium tower anticipated to rise at 1309 South Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. Designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, with interiors by Jean-Louis Deniot, the project is planned to yield 41 expansive luxury residences; sales have done exceptionally well with nearly 60% sold prior to commencing construction. Units will come in three-and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from 4,200 to 8,400 square feet, and a six-bedroom penthouse spanning 8,900 square feet, priced from $6.7 million to $30 million.

Applications have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration for the development of the 11.3-acre Daytona Gateway Marina project, which is comprised of two mixed-use high rise buildings and a 138-slip marina at 135 East International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach. The buildings would rise 415-feet and 417-feet, or 422-feet and 425-feet above sea level, and will include 550 luxury residences, a boutique hotel, retail and restaurant spaces, and space to accommodate vessels ranging from 40 to 150 feet as well as dry storage for up 250 boats. The Jaymor Group is the owner behind the applications.
