Red Apple Real Estate Secures $252 Million In Financing, Vertical Construction For St. Petersburg’s Tallest Building To Commence In March 2023

Red Apple Real Estate has secured $252 million in financing for The Residences at 400 Central, a 46-story mixed-use building under construction at 400 Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg. Designed by Arquitectonica with WSP as the structural engineer and featuring interiors by Celano Design Studio, The Residences at 400 Central will become the tallest building in the city and on the gulf coast at approximately 515 feet, yielding 1.3 million square feet of space including 301 luxury condominiums with views of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, retail and restaurant space, and upwards of 40,000 square feet of Class A office space. Suffolk Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is scheduled to go vertical in March 2023.

Renderings Surface For 35-Story Tower Soon To Break Ground In Downtown Tampa’s North Side

Renderings have surfaced for a 35-story mixed-use building planned for a 34,000-square-foot site at 505 East Tyler Street and 914 North Morgan Street in the North Downtown submarket of Downtown Tampa. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by Cantor Silverstein Opportunity Zone Trust, Inc., a Qualified Opportunity Fund and joint venture partnership between New York-based developer Silverstein Properties and financial firm Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., the approximate 363-foot-tall structure will comprise 770,000 square feet of space including 450 residential units with associated leasing office/lounge, 11,500 square feet of amenities, 9,430 square feet of ground floor restaurant/retail space.

13th Floor Investments Files Plans For 17-Story Mixed-Use Tower Near Aventura, Florida

Miami-based developer 13th Floor Investments, under the 13th Floor Acquisitions, LLC, has filed plans for a 17-story mixed-use building at 19680 and 19770 West Dixie Highway in the Ojus neighborhood of Miami-Dade County, near Aventura. Designed by Corwil Architects, the nearly 190-foot-tall structure would yield 561,775 square feet of space including 350 multifamily residential units, approximately 5,300 square feet of ground floor retail, and 545 parking spaces with 20% designated for electric vehicle charging. The property is located just west of Aventura Mall and steps away from the new Brightline Aventura Station.

FAA Permits Filed Again For Related Group’s 45-Story ‘RD Las Olas’ Under Construction In Downtown Fort Lauderdale

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has received building permit applications to continue work on RD Las Olas, a 45-story mixed-use building under construction at 201 South Federal Highway in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by Miami-based The Related Group (Related), the tower is destined to become the second tallest in Fort Lauderdale, comprising 300 residential units along with approximately 3,200 square feet of ground floor retail, a parking garage of 453 spaces and amenities such as a 10th-floor deck with a club room, a health club, a pool, and a spa. Balfour Beatty is serving as the general contractor with Baker Concrete Construction as the shell contractor and PTE Systems International, LLC providing post-tension materials and equipment
