ZOM Living, in a joint venture partnership with Mattoni Group, Scout Capital and AEW Capital Management, announced the completion of the first phase of the transformative development MiLine Miami. Phase one includes the delivery of 338 luxury, mid-rise apartments, 4,600 square feet of retail space featuring a brewery and two restaurants, and 1,300 linear feet of the Ludlam Trail for residents and the broader community to enjoy outdoor recreational activities such as walking, biking and hiking. MiLine Miami is designed by MSA Architects with interiors by Meshberg Group and landscaping from Naturalficial. HSQ Group is the civil engineer and Kaufman Lynn Construction is the general contractor.

Finvarb Group Proposes 5-Story Mixed-Use Development For 1790 Alton Road In Miami Beach

Plans have been filed for a mixed-use project at 1790 Alton Road in South Beach, Miami Beach. The scope of work includes a new construction building of 5-stories set to occupy an irregularly shaped 0.237-acre land parcel nestled between 18th Street and Dade Boulevard, beside an Office Depot supply store and across the street from the Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach. Plans for the 79-foot-tall structure calls for 34,679 gross square feet of space including 12 residential units, 2 distinct restaurants and 19 parking spaces. Finvarb Group under the Sobe 18 LLC is the developer and owner of the application, which is scheduled for review by the city’s Design Review Board on October 4, 2022.

Manor at Miramar, an 8-story mixed-use project under construction a 1 Main Street, has topped off in the heart of Miramar, FL. Designed by Stantec and developed by Related Group, the development will offer 393 residential units, a 655-space parking garage and 28,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Current Builders, led by CEO Michael Taylor, is the general contractor for the project, which is slated for completion in Q3 2023.

Twin 485-Foot-Tall Towers At 1900 Biscayne Boulevard Approved By The FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued building permits for twin 485-foot-tall residential towers at 1900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. The developer behind the efforts is Kushner Companies, who’s developing both of these towers along with a third tower at 2000 Biscayne Boulevard, collectively known as the Edgewater Collective. The FAA approved building permits yesterday, and will be valid for the next 18 months. Plans for the Edgewater Collective include 1,265 residential units and 24,000 square feet of retail space across three towers.

Plans Filed For First Portion Of Upland Park Phase One Beside Dolphin Station In Sweetwater, FL

Miami-Dade County planners received an Administrative Site Plan Review (ASPR) application for the first portion of Upland Park Phase 1, a 15-story mixed-use building planned for 11897 Northwest 12th Street in Sweetwater, Florida, dubbed Building L. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by Terra Group (Terra) under the Terra International Services, LLC, this phase of the development will consist of 384 multi-family dwelling units, approximately 50,000 square feet of grocery and retail, and approximately 853 parking spaces in a structured garage. The 2.575-acre subject property is owned by Miami-Dade County and leased to Terra for developmental purposes, representing a fraction of the overall planned 43-acre Upland Park transit-oriented mixed-use community where the developer is spending $1 billion to build nearly 2,000 residential units, 200,000 square feet of retail, a 12-story hotel, a 16- story office building, medical facilities and a school.

Developers Secure $83 Million Construction Loan For 25-Story Mixed-Use Project In Downtown Hollywood

Fort Lauderdale-based BTI Partners and Salt Lake City-based Bridge Investment Group have secured an $83 million construction loan from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for a new 25-story mixed-use development in Downtown Hollywood’s Central Business District. The development site, acquired by the developers in 2021 for $11 million, was once home to the long-neglected and now demolished Hollywood Bread Building. Located at 1727-1745 Van Buren Street, 1700-1716 Harrison Street and 1740-1760 South Young Circle, the redevelopment of the site is an important step in the revitalization of the west end of Downtown Hollywood anchored by the 10-acre ArtsPark at Young Circle. The new development will yield 362 market-rate apartments and about 16,000 square feet of retail space, designed by Adache Group Architects and Modis Architects.

Permits have been filed for demolition work and tree removal at 6001 Northeast 2nd Avenue, a lengthy 6.11-acre stretch of land located within the confines of the Magic City Innovation District emerging at the borders between Little River and Little Haiti in Miami. The site is located specifically located between Northeast 2nd and 4th Avenues with Northeast 60th Street directly to the south and Northeast 61st Street is the northern most thoroughfare. Site plans have been filed for The Benjamin, a 30-story, tw0-tower mixed-use development proposed for 777 Southeast 3rd Avenue in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Designed by FSMY Architects + Planners for New York-Based developer The Benjamin Companies, the massive 1,170,112-square-foot superstructure would top off at approximately 341 feet and yield 542 residential units, 13,764 square feet of commercial space and 801 parking spaces. Architectural Alliance Landscape is serving as the landscape architect, Botel Thurlow Engineering is the civil engineer and Michael S. Wiener is the land use attorney. Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee will consider plans for The Benjamin this upcoming Tuesday, August 23rd.

Miami Riverbridge, The Three-Towered Redevelopment Of Downtown Miami’s Hyatt Regency, Heads To November Referendum For Approval

At the end of July, Miami’s City Commission voted 4 – 1 in favor of Miami Riverbridge, a three-towered, large-scale mixed-use mega project proposed as the redevelopment of a 4.2-acre city-owned site at 400 Southeast 2nd Avenue in the heart of Downtown Miami, where the Hyatt Regency Miami and James L. Knight Convention Center stand today. Estimated to cost approximately $1.5 billion, the project calls for three new towers, two of 61 stories and one 95-story supertall, which would contain over 1,500 residential units, a new flagship 615-key Hyatt Regency hotel and 264 branded serviced apartments, 190,000 square feet of Class A meeting and events space, commercial and retail spaces, over 1,000 parking spaces and 50,000 square feet of open public space including a 480-foot-long rejuvenated riverwalk. Miami Riverbridge is being developed between Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Gencom under the HRM Owner LLC, and is being designed by Arquitectonica. The project’s fate is now in the hands of city voters at the next referendum on November 8.
