Woodfield Investments Proposes 41-Story Mixed-Use Tower In Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee will review site plans for a new construction 41-story mixed-use building at 520 West Broward Boulevard. The 0.79-acre property is located in the Sailboat Bend neighborhood within the City’s Downtown Core, nestled in between Southwest 5th and 6th Avenues south of West Broward Boulevard. Designed by West Palm Beach-based Spina O’Rourke + Partners with EDSA as the landscape architect and developed by Virginia-based Woodfield Investments LLC, the project comprises of 365 residential units, 2,500 square feet of ground level commercial space, an amenity deck with 53,165 square feet of space and 444 parking spaces. Flynn Engineering is onboard as the civil engineer along with Maser Consulting as the surveyor and Lighting Dynamics Inc. for lighting purposes.

Miami-Dade County Planners To Review Plans For 36-Story ‘Block 45’ Development In The Overtown District

Atlantic Pacific Communities has filed an application for an Administrative Site Plan Review (ASPR) with Miami-Dade County in connection to Block 45, a 36-story transit oriented mixed-use building planned for a vacant 1.89-acre development site addressed as 152 Northwest 8th Street in Miami’s Overtown district. The project already has a handful of approvals from several governing bodies including a final site plan approval from the City of Miami and FAA approvals for a 395-foot-tall structure. Block 45 is designed by Corwil Architects with Architectural Alliance Landscape as the landscape architect and Kimley-Horn as the civil engineer. Plans for the tower include 616 residential units, of which 98 are micro units, 24,865 square feet of retail and 605 parking spaces.

The Krymwood Hotel Proposed For 176 Northwest 28th Street In Wynwood, Miami

Wynwood’s Design Review Committee has received plans for the  Krymwood Hotel, an 8-story mixed-use building proposed to be constructed at 176 Northwest 28th Street. The project would be located in the heart of the neighborhood, near the Wynwood Walls with frontages on both Northwest 28th and 29th streets, bound by Northwest 2nd Avenue to the west and Northwest 1st Avenue to the east. Designed by New York City-based architecture firm MKDA for Florida Art Services LLC, a joint venture between developer Michael Krymchantowski and QKapital Group, the development would rise 123-feet and comprise 72,369 square feet of new construction including 60 units mixed between residential and lodging uses. The ground floor would have 4,903 square feet of commercial space and there would no parking for vehicles.
