B Developments Proposes 30-Story Mixed-Use Tower At 1755 JFK Causeway In North Bay Village

The Planning & Zoning Board of North Bay Village is now reviewing proposals for 1755 JFK Causeway, a 30-story mixed-use building planned to rise 345-feet on the north side of the Kennedy Causeway on Treasure Island. Designed by award-winning architecture firm Arquitectonica and developed by LGE NBV LLC, an affiliate of Miami-based B Developments, the curved glass tower would yield 473,252 square feet of new construction including 201 residential units with 32,654 square feet of amenities, a 19,455-square-foot space for a restaurant with a waterfront terrace, a 1,860-square-foot juice bar/coffee bar on the ground floor, 52,358 square feet of office space and a parking structure incorporated into the podium with 408 parking spaces. New renderings reveal interior spaces of the residential amenity offerings at Orange Station, a planned large-scale mixed-use development addressed as 1301 1st Avenue North located in St. Petersburg’s EDGE District. Designed by Tim Clemmons of Place Architecture and developed by Edge Central Development Partners, a joint venture between DDA Development, J Square Developers and Backstreets Capital, LLC, the development is projected to yield five buildings including 103 residential units with workforce housing, approximately 106,000 square feet of office space, 21,400 square of retail space, a pubic plaza and a private-public use parking garage fit for 600 vehicles.

New York-Based Developers Propose A 36-Story Residential Tower For 199 NW 5th Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

A pair of New York-based developers have filed plans with the Development Review Committee of the City of Fort Lauderdale seeking approvals for the construction of a new residential high rise building at 199 Northwest 5th Avenue. The building would rise 364-feet and span 36 stories, featuring designs by Fort Lauderdale-based Dorsky + Yue International Architecture and landscaping by Architectural Alliance Landscape. Station Village Development, LLC, a joint venture between Acquest Development (Acquest) of Williamsville, NY and Uniland Development Company (Uniland) of Amherst, NY, is listed as the owner of the application. Plans for the development include 432,800 square feet of new construction which would yield 400 residential units, 4,798 square feet of ground floor retail space and a parking structure for up to 550 vehicles.

FAA Applications Filed For Two Towers At 1 Southside Park In Brickell, Miami

Applications have been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) seeking approvals for the construction of two towers at 1 Southside Park in Brickell, Miami. The buildings would rise 754-feet, or 766-feet above sea level, and 708-feet, or 720-feet above sea level, and would be located mainly along Southwest 2nd Avenue between Southwest 11th and 12th Streets near the western-most perimeters of the Brickell neighborhood. The project is being developed by New York City’s JDS Development Group and is designed by SHoP Architects, the duo behind Brooklyn’s first supertall – the 1,066-foot-tall The Brooklyn Tower, and the world’s most slender supertall skyscraper, the 1,428-foot-tall 111 West 57th Street. 1 Southside Park is projected to yield nearly 1,200 residential units, approximately 200,000 square feet of Class-A office space, 23,312 square feet of restaurant space, 1,417 square feet for a fast-food restaurant, a 189-room Treehouse Hotel operated by SH Hotels & Resorts, a 32,000-square-foot fire house and 1,000 parking spaces.
