Tower One’s Superstructure Reaches Parapet On Smart Brickell At 239 SW 9th Street In Miami

The reinforced concrete superstructure on the first of three towers has reached it’s parapet at Smart Brickell, a 25-story, multi-building complex under construction at 239 Southwest 9th Street in the western section Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. HAC Architects and Urbanists is the design architect with Gensler as the architect of record, and Arquitectonica Interiors is handling interiors. Habitat Group is the developer behind the project.

Renderings Revealed For 46-Story Tower At 525 South Andrews Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

New renderings have been revealed in an application for 525 South Andrews Avenue, a proposed 46-story, 466-foot-tall mixed-use building Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Designed by Dorsky + Yue International Architecture, the 543,307-square-foot tower will comprise of 390,658 square feet of residential space across 399 units, 900 square feet of commercial space, 26,126 square feet of amenities and 116,623 square feet of service space.

PALMA’s Vision For The Basel Miami At 205 Southwest 3rd Street

Plans to redevelop the site of an old warehouse at 205 Southwest 3rd Street in Downtown Miami have been in the works for quite some time now. The owner of the property, Blys Plank Inc., a company owned by Sean McCormick, has tapped Jo Palma from renown architectural firm PALMA, currently pursuing the new Joint Government Center In Fort Lauderdale, to design a 36-story mixed-use glass skyscraper called The Basel, which is set to rise in to the skyline and over the Interstate 95. The developer, who’s owned the site since the early 1970’s, looks to bring this project to life through a joint venture, as the property is located within what is deemed as an opportunity zone.
