Transit-Oriented Mixed-Use Development With Hundreds Of Luxury Apartments Slated For Downtown West Palm Beach

WPB Fern Holdings LLC, a partnership between New York City-based L&L Holding Company, West Palm Beach-based Wexford Real Estate Investors (WREI) and Miami’s 13th Floor Investments, has acquired a prime 2.6-acre development assemblage in the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach. The interior lots include 418 and 464 Fern Street; 401, 415, 417 and 421 South Dixie Highway; 419 and 435 Gardenia Street, all bound by South Quadrille Boulevard to the east and located just a walk away from Brightline’s West Palm Beach high-speed rail station. The partnership is now entering pre-development planning and design work for a mixed-use project, which is expected to yield hundreds of highly-amenitized luxury rental apartments along with ground floor retail and restaurants.

Applications For Two 765-Foot-Tall Tower Cranes Filed Near 275 SW 6th Street Along The Miami River

The Federal Aviation Administration has received applications for two 765-foot-tall tower tower cranes at the site of Chetrit Group’s Miami Riverwalk Towers development. The filing occurred on September 20th, and corresponds to the vertical construction of a 54-story mixed-use tower that is planned to rise at 275 Southwest 6th Street. Designed by renown architect Kobi Karp, piling work is now underway for the first of what eventually will become four towers. The mega development is projected to yield 4.2 million-square-feet including 1,678 residential units, 330 hotel rooms, 196,882-square-feet of retail space, 98,040-square-feet of office space and 30-slip marina.

Renderings Revealed For 104-Unit 701 E Whiting Street In Downtown Tampa

Renderings were revealed last week for 705 East Whiting Street in Downtown Tampa. The proposed 7-story multi-family residential project is being developed by Clarke Family Enterprises T Inc. and MKC Downtown LLC, who will include offsite improvements including asphalt and sidewalk improvements to E. Whiting Street and S. Jefferson Street to provide the code-required public realm zone corresponding to the street type as outlined in the City Form Based Code. Designed by Tampa-based BDG Architects, the structure will rise approximately 100-feet and yield 62,000 square feet of space including 104 studio-sized apartments and 72 bicycle parking spaces.
