29-Story Gallery At West Brickell Breaks Ground At 201 SW 10th Street In West Brickell, Miami

Related Urban Development Group, the affordable housing arm of Related Group, Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade County Public Schools celebrated the groundbreaking of the 29-story Gallery at West Brickell on Wednesday, September 21. The event commemorated the start of construction on the third Gallery-branded property, attracting many notable people, including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava; Miami-Dade County District 5 Commissioner Eileen Higgins; Miami-Dade County Public Housing Director Michael Liu; Related CEO Jorge M. Perez among others. The 304-foot-tall project is located at 201 Southwest 10th Street in  West Brickell, Miami. It will offer 465 mixed-income units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments with 163 units reserved for workforce housing, 302 market-rate units, 2,240 square feet of office space, 2.338 square feet of retail space, and 529 parking spaces. Developers Unveil Plans For $1B Southland Mall Redevelopment In Cutler Bay, Miami-Dade County

Electra America, a real estate private equity firm, along with its U.S.-affiliate, American Landmark, and BH Group, a Miami-based private real estate investment, and development firm, has unveiled preliminary plans for the redevelopment and revitalization of the Southland Mall in Cutler Bay, located at 20505 South Dixie Highway, approximately 20 miles south of downtown Miami. The 80-acre, $1 billion redevelopment will be one of the most significant projects of its kind in the Southeast and be called Southplace City Center, designed and master planned by MSA Architects Inc. with Insite Studio as the landscape architect, Kimley Horn as the civil/traffic engineer, CPH for retail consulting, and Florida Economic Advisors for economic consulting.

Potential $240 Million Land Sale Could Clear The Way For A Sculpturesque 80-Story Condo Tower In Brickell

Miami’s oldest Presbyterian church has been given clearance to move forward with the $240 million sale of 2.2-acres of land at 609 Brickell Avenue, one of the last remaining waterfront sites in Brickell. The Permanent Judicial Commission of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, the highest governing body of the religious institution, sided with church leaders and members in favor of selling the land for redevelopment purposes. Miami-based investment and development firms 13th Floor Investments and Key International are planning an 80-story condominium tower designed by Sieger Suarez Architects (Sieger Suarez) that could become a supertall fronting Biscayne Bay. The developers and church leaders are reportedly finalizing the sale contract for the prime development site.
