Manor at Miramar, an 8-story mixed-use project under construction a 1 Main Street, has topped off in the heart of Miramar, FL. Designed by Stantec and developed by Related Group, the development will offer 393 residential units, a 655-space parking garage and 28,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Current Builders, led by CEO Michael Taylor, is the general contractor for the project, which is slated for completion in Q3 2023.

Sandpiper Glen, an affordable senior housing development, is slated for Orlando, Florida. Groundbreaking happened earlier this month. The development will offer 288 units, ranging from 630 square feet to 1,286 square feet each. Future residents can choose from one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans.

Developers Sign Utilities Deal For Ultra-Luxury 55-Story High Rise 710 Edge In Edgewater, Miami

A utilities deal for water and sewer connections has been signed with the City of Miami for 710 Edge, a 55-story ultra-luxury residential high rise planned for 710 Northeast 29th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by ODP Architecture & Design and developed by 710 Edge LLC – a joint venture partnership between One Thousand Museum developers Kevin Venger, Louis Birdman, Michael Konig, and real estate developer Alex Posth, the newly signed deal includes connections for 100 residential units and 31,418 square feet of retail. The developers executed the deal on August 28, 2022.

Pearl Sunrise to Replace Ice Skating Rink at 3363 North Pine Island Road, Sunrise, Florida

Pearl Sunrise, a multi-family housing development, could soon replace a long-abandoned ice skating rink in Sunrise, Florida. The Real Deal reports that the venture may comprise 452 apartment units. The South Florida Business Journal reports that 15 percent of those units will be set aside for those making up to 120 percent of the area’s median income. Homes vary from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans.

Camino Square to Feature 350 Apartments at 171 West Camino Real, Boca Raton, Florida

Construction continues on Camino Square, a $69 million mixed-use venture in Boca Raton, Florida. The development will reach completion in two phases. The first phase will offer 350 apartments in two eight-story buildings. The homes will measure 700 square feet to 1,500 square feet each.

Anthology Senior Living at Bonyton Beach to Open at 9776 South Jog Road, Boynton Beach, Florida

Anthology Senior Living is opening a facility in Boynton Beach, Florida. The development started construction in 2021, with CA Ventures operating as the general contractor. It could open in the first quarter of 2023. The $22.7 million venture will offer “unrivaled hospitality accommodations and care” to older adults in need of assisted living and memory care services.

Namdar Group Issued $195 Million Loan For Two Apartment Towers In Downtown Miami

Great Neck, NY-based real estate investment and development firm Namdar Group has secured $195 million in acquisition and construction funding for Namdar Towers, two residential buildings of 41- and 43-stories planned for 222 Northeast 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami. The loan came from an affiliate of New York’s Slate Property Group – SCALE Lending – brokered by associates of Greystone Capital Advisors. Plans for the residential project include 1.2 million square feet of space with 1,354 residential units between both towers.

Harbor Grove Apartments Finishes Construction at 3250 Southeast Commerce Avenue, Stuart, Florida

Harbor Grove Apartments has recently finished construction in Stuart, Florida. The $28 million multifamily housing complex offers more than 320 apartments, measuring 618 square feet to 874 square feet each. Apartments.com notes that layout plans comprise one-bedroom to two-bedroom homes. Rent begins at $1,925 a month, although this could change with time.

Twin 485-Foot-Tall Towers At 1900 Biscayne Boulevard Approved By The FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued building permits for twin 485-foot-tall residential towers at 1900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. The developer behind the efforts is Kushner Companies, who’s developing both of these towers along with a third tower at 2000 Biscayne Boulevard, collectively known as the Edgewater Collective. The FAA approved building permits yesterday, and will be valid for the next 18 months. Plans for the Edgewater Collective include 1,265 residential units and 24,000 square feet of retail space across three towers.

The Avery, a 200-Unit Complex, Nearly Finishes Construction in Orlando, FL

General contractors broke ground on the Avery in February 2021, and now, it’s leasing. The multifamily residential venture offers 200 units spread across five four-story buildings. In total, the venture required more than 200,000 square feet of new construction.
