Groundbreaking Set For March 6th On 50-Acre Gas Worx Mixed-Use Development In Ybor City, Tampa

The excitement is building in Ybor City, Tampa, as preparations are underway for the official groundbreaking of the highly anticipated Gas Worx mixed-use development. This 50-acre joint venture between Darryl Shaw and D.C.-based KETTLER will break ground on March 6th. It will be attended by several distinguished speakers, including Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and the founder and CEO of KETTLER, Bob Kettler. The project’s design is in the hands of Design Collective as the architect, with Bohler serving as the engineer. Sasaki is handling the urban planning and design aspect of the project.

FAA Permits Submitted For 389-Foot-Tall ‘The Muse Tower’ At 416 NE 1st Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

Permits have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for work on The Muse Tower (The Muse), a planned 30-story residential high-rise in Flagler Village, Fort Lauderdale. Located at 416 Northeast 1st Avenue, the project is designed by INOA Architecture with R-Method as the architect of record and developed by Brooklyn, New York-based New Leaf Development, which acquired the site for $4.05 million in 2021. The permits were filed on February 2 for the 389-foot-tall tower, which would comprise over 210,000 gross square feet of space, including 112 residential units, 854 square feet of commercial space for an art gallery, and a parking garage for 137 vehicles.

Developer Proposes 8-Story Apartment Building With 28 Units In Goulds, Miami-Dade County

Taurus Development Group LLC has revealed plans to develop a residential project on vacant land at 21800 Southwest 120th Avenue in Goulds, Miami-Dade County. Designed by Conconcreto Designs LLC, which also serves as the structural and mechanical engineer, with Fecttech Consult LLC as the civil engineer, the project is proposed to rise to 8 stories containing 28 dwelling units and a ground-floor parking garage with additional on-street parking. If approved by Miami-Dade County planners, the new building will top out at approximately 94 feet, comprise 43,676 square feet of new construction, and take on the Barcelona Tower moniker.
