Two Tower Crane Permits Issued To Denver-Based Aimco For 60-Story Hamilton On The Bay Apartment Tower

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued permits for two tower cranes to build Hamilton on the Bay II, a 649-foot-tall apartment tower soon to rise at 640 Northeast 34th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Stantec with interiors by Urvanx and landscaping by MAKwork for Denver-based real estate developer Aimco, the 60-story tower will have 241 residential units, 4,696-square-feet of commercial space for a restaurant and a parking garage for 380 vehicles. The planned development will rise on nearly 1.1-acres of combined land parcels between 560 and 640 Northeast 34th Streets, across the street from the developer’s 28-story ‘The Hamilton’ recently renovated apartment tower and directly facing Biscayne Bay.

Sculptural 563-Foot-Tall Tower Designed By ODA New York Proposed For 633 SE 3rd Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

Another building exceeding the 500-foot mark has been proposed to rise in Fort Lauderdale. Dependable Equities, a Brooklyn, NY-based real estate developer, under the South of River Associates, LLC has filed plans for a second large scale mixed-use project in the city’s Downtown Core. Proposed to rise 563-feet, the sculptural 47-story structure would surpass the current tallest building, 100 Las Olas, and is one of the tallest amongst several other proposals over 500-feet, slated to yield 830 residential units, 12,798 square feet of commercial space and a 9-story parking garage for 951 vehicles integrated into the podium. The project’s design is led by Eran Chen of ODA New York with Flynn Engineering as the civil engineer and Witkin Hults + Partners as the landscape architect.

FAA Approves Three Tower Cranes For Pendry Tampa Site At 103 South Ashley Drive In Downtown Tampa

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved permits for the assemblage and use of three tower cranes at 103 Ashley Drive South in Downtown Tampa. The tower cranes will assist in the vertical construction of Pendry Tampa, a 38-story luxury hotel and residential building planned for a 1.69-acre site beside the Hillsborough River bound by Ashley Drive South on the east, West Whiting Street on the north, East Brorein Street on the south and the Tampa Riverwalk on the west. Designed by world renown architecture firm Arquitectonica with interior design by Studio Munge and developed by South Florida-based real estate development firm Two Roads Development in partnership with Montage International, the California-based hospitality company behind Pendry Hotels & Resorts, the 409-foot-tall structure will yield a 5-star hotel with 220 guest rooms, 207 private Pendry Residences, three signature food and beverage offerings, riverwalk-fronting retail and restaurant outlets alongside more than 11,000 square feet of private event space. Kimley-Horn is the landscape architect and Montage Hotels & Resorts will handle residential management.
