266-Unit Mixed-Use Development Proposed For 27077 South Dixie Highway In Naranja, Miami-Dade County

Miami-Dade County has received an application requesting for an Administrative Site Plan Review from Sulmona Ventures LLC, who has submitted a proposal to construct 266 affordable housing units, also known as workforce housing, across 2 new mixed-use buildings of 7 and 8 stories in the evolving Naranja district. The project’s title is Waterside for the time being, and is located at 27077 South Dixie Highway, on the corner of SW 145th St. The buildings will be designed by Coral Gables-based Behar Front & Partners, and will eventually rise on 4.78 acres of land encompassing well over 200,000 square feet of total lot area.

New construction permits have been filed for a 380-foot-tall, 38-story mixed-use tower at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. Located near the borders of Wynwood and within what is considered Midtown Miami, the interior lot is just two block away from Biscayne Bay, bounded by NE 29th St. to the south, NE 2nd Ct. to the west, NE 30th St. to the north and Biscayne Blvd. to the east, occupying the entire block. The project will be named Nema, which is a brand of developments by Miami-based Crescent Heights, who has Arquitectonica onboard as the design architect with the Rockwell Group as the architect of record.
