Designed by Arquitectonica with EcoPlan, Inc. as the landscape architect and Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. as the civil engineer, the 240-foot-tall structure would yield 36 residential units and 108 parking spaces. The developer’s identity is masked by Ocean Harbor Properties, LLC, which according to records, does not list any individuals as managers or members and has AGI Registered Agents, Inc. as the registered agent. Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee will consider plans on February 14 for Ocean Harbor, located at 3019 Harbor Drive near Seabreeze Boulevard/Florida State Road A1A.

Downtown Miami may soon get a new addition to its skyline. Miami-based developer, Melo Group, has filed plans for a new mixed-use tower called Downtown 6th. The 54-story edifice would feature 824 residential units, 2,427 square feet of commercial space, and 639 parking spaces. Designed by Melo Architecture with G3aec as the architecture of record, the 576-foot-tall building would enhance the pedestrian experience and activate this section of the Central Business District, yielding 1,081,913 square feet of space

Developer Secures Financing For Affordable Housing Project In Bradenton, Manatee County

Housing Trust Group (HTG), one of the nation’s largest affordable housing developers, has closed on financing for Riverview6, a new 5-story $34 million affordable family housing community in Bradenton, Manatee County. Rental apartments at Riverview6 will be reserved for income-qualifying residents who earn at or below 30, 60, and 70 percent of the area median income (AMI), with rents ranging from $486 to $1,571 per month. The property is scheduled to complete in mid–2024.

The excitement is building in Ybor City, Tampa, as preparations are underway for the official groundbreaking of the highly anticipated Gas Worx mixed-use development. This 50-acre joint venture between Darryl Shaw and D.C.-based KETTLER will break ground on March 6th. It will be attended by several distinguished speakers, including Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and the founder and CEO of KETTLER, Bob Kettler. The project’s design is in the hands of Design Collective as the architect, with Bohler serving as the engineer. Sasaki is handling the urban planning and design aspect of the project.

Located at 416 Northeast 1st Avenue, the project is designed by INOA Architecture with R-Method as the architect of record and developed by Brooklyn, New York-based New Leaf Development, which acquired the site for $4.05 million in 2021. The permits were filed on February 2 for the 389-foot-tall tower, which would comprise over 210,000 gross square feet of space, including 112 residential units, 854 square feet of commercial space for an art gallery, and a parking garage for 137 vehicles.

This demolition will clear the way for constructing Casa Bella by B&B Italia, a 55-story luxury residential condo tower designed by world-renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica, with interiors being designed by Piero Lissoni. The scope of work, estimated to cost $800,000, will involve the clearance of 249,978 square feet, and BG Group has been contracted as the demolition contractor.

Standing tall at 954 feet above the ground and 960 feet above mean sea level, this radiant structure would be located at the southwest corner of South Miami Avenue and Southwest 8th Street and replace an existing single-story strip-mall. Building permits were recently filed with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), solidifying the progress toward bringing this towering vision to reality. Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has already approved, ensuring that the tower will offer a total of 923,000 square feet of space, including 392 residential units, 66,618 square feet of retail, and 464 parking spaces. With the experienced architects at Nichols Architects, formerly NBWW Architects, at the helm, this tower promises to be a hallmark in Miami’s skyline.
