Renderings Revealed For Proposed Twin ‘DNA’ Towers With 612-Units At 300 & 330 N. Andrews Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

Renderings from Sieger Suarez Architects have been revealed for two identical towers of 40 and 45 stories proposed as a mixed-use development at 300 and 330 North Andrews Avenue in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. New York City and Fort Lauderdale-based developer BH3 is planning on developing 1,428,920 square feet of space across two 500-foot-tall structures including 612 residential units, 56,317 square feet of commercial space across the first two levels, and a 7-story parking garage with 890 parking spaces. The proposed height for the towers would add them to the ranks of the tallest buildings in Fort Lauderdale if approved. EGS2 Corp is listed as the landscaping architect with Orlando-based Graef as the civil engineer.

The FAA Receives Applications For A 596-Foot-Tall Structure In Fort Lauderdale

The Federal Aviation Administration received applications seeking approval for a 596-foot-tall structure, or 600-feet above sea level, in Downtown Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2022. The coordinates listed in the applications indicate the building would be generally located on the southern portion of the city block bound by Southwest 2nd Street (Himmarshee Street) on the South, Southwest 4th Avenue on the West, Nugent Avenue on the East and West Broward Boulevard on the North. The property borders the 4.2-acre development assemblage where Broward Crossing is planned. Four lots included in the assemblage span 76,000 square feet, which includes 111 Southwest 3rd Avenue, 301 and 329 Southwest 2nd Streets, and approximately 125 Southwest 4th Avenue. assemblage where Broward Crossing is planned. Society Orlando’s Concrete Superstructure Continues Vertical Ascent In Downtown Orlando

Construction continues to rise on Society Orlando, a 330-foot-tall, 26-story mixed-use development at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando. Designed by Orlando-based Baker Barrios and being developed by Miami and New York City-based Property Markets Group (PMG) alongside investment partner Raven Capital Management (Raven), the project consists of a pair of towers that will yield a combined 707 residential units under PMG’s Society Living brand with approximately 36,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. The first phase of the development is making rapid vertical progress with John Moriarty & Associates as the general contractor.

Developers Plan A 418-Foot-Tall Residential Tower At 1836 Biscayne Boulevard In Edgewater, Miami

A group of developers are planning on reviving and redeveloping a nearly 1-acre piece of property near the Arts and Entertainment District in Edgewater, Miami. Skylight Real Estate Partners, Panther Capital Management and Arden Group formed a joint venture and purchased 1836 Biscayne Boulevard and 256 Northeast 19th Street from Fifteen Group for $20 million. Plans for the recently purchased site include the construction of a 40-story residential tower and the restoration of the First Church of Christ Scientist structure built in 1926, which would then be converted into over 15,000 square feet of retail. To the developer’s convenience, the property came with approved plans from 2019, allowing them to cut down on time typically spent in the planning stages.

L&L Holding Company (L&L) and Carpe Real Estate Partners (CREP) have announced that they have successfully completed the acquisition of a 3-acre assemblage for the creation of The Wynwood Plaza, a one-million square-foot multi-building mixed-use development that will bring new office, residential, retail and outdoor space to Miami’s booming Wynwood Arts District. Formerly known as 29N, the project is designed by world-renowned architecture firm Gensler and will become a major attraction and destination for Wynwood. Plans for projected to yield 260,000 square feet of office space, 509 residential units, array of indoor and outdoor dining and shopping options, a beautifully landscaped 25,000 square-foot outdoor public plaza and a parking garage with 668 car spaces and 954 bike spaces

Dynasty Financial Partners Selected To Redevelop 2-Acre Site Near Tropicana Field In St. Petersburg

Last November, the City of St. Petersburg issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the redevelopment of a 2.02-acre site near Tropicana Field in the Intown Redevelopment Area. The RFP was issued following an unsolicited offer by New York City-based developer Atlas Real Estate Partners. Outgoing Mayor Rick Kriseman has selected Dynasty Financial Partners to purchase the property for $6.25 million, which is specifically located at 910 2nd Avenue South and is comprised of nearly 88,000 square feet. The property is bound by Dr. M.L.K. Jr. St. S on the east, 3rd Ave. S. to the south, 10th St. S. to the west and 2nd Ave. S. to the north, and was previously being utilized as a parking lot leased to the Tampa Bay Rays.

An Updated Design Is Revealed For Town Center Gateway At 666 71st Street In North Beach, Miami Beach

An application has been filed requesting modifications to a previously approved design review approval for the construction of Town Center Gateway, a new 13-story mixed-use building planned for 666 71st Street in North Beach, Miami Beach. The developer is specifically requesting to add an additional parcel of land to the assemblage, make changes to the design on all elevations and rearrange the layouts of the floor plans. Built Form Architecture is listed as the architect for developer Nobe Creek LLC, an entity mostly owned by the Galbut Family. The development would yield 159,868 square feet of new construction including 126 residential units, 9,500 square feet of commercial space and 40 parking vehicle spaces.

Concrete Core Walls Begin To Rise For Bayfront On Sand Lake In Dr. Phillips, Orlando

Several concrete core walls have been erected at Bayfront On Sand Lake, a multi-family luxury residential apartment community under construction at 10900 Turkey Lake Road in Dr. Phillips, Orlando. Designed by Winter Park-based FK Architecture and being developed by Macomb Oakland Sand Lake LLC, an entity owned and managed by real estate developer Mickey Shapiro, the project is comprised of the development of several 4-story lake-front apartment buildings across 16.54-acres of land in between Big Sand Lake and Interstate 4. Development plans filed with the city indicate the community will yield up to to 376 dwelling units.

Updated Design Revealed For Twin 39-Story Towers Planned In Coral Gables

Earlier this year, YIMBY revealed renderings for two new mixed-use towers proposed to rise immediately south of the Douglas Road Metrorail Station in Coral Gables, Miami. The project, representing the second and final phase of the transit-oriented Link at Douglas complex, is envisioned as twin 444-foot-tall, 39-story buildings joint by a shared podium comprised of 1.12 million square feet of space, which would contain a blend of residential, office, commercial and parking spaces. At completion, the tower would become the tallest south of Brickell. Developers Adler Group and 13th Floor Investments have released updated renderings of the planned development, further revealing new designs from Arquitectonica. To compare and contrast the changes in the design, I’ve paired each new rendering with it’s older counterpart below
