The new Okaloosa Gas District headquarters recently reached completion, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on January 14 at the campus in Valparaiso, Florida, located at 364 Valparaiso Parkway. The development includes a four-story, 152,000-square-foot office building, complemented by an 18,400-square-foot operations center, a 7,200-square-foot vehicle maintenance building, and a 23,540-square-foot warehouse, consolidating the district’s administrative and operational functions into a single location serving the Florida Panhandle. The project was designed by DAG Architects, with Robins & Morton serving as the general contractor.

Construction has topped out at One Brickell Riverfront, a dual-tower condominium development rising at 99 SW Seventh Street in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Developed by Newgard Group and Two Roads Development, with construction led by G.T. McDonald, the project consists of two residential towers sharing a unified podium along the Miami River. LOFTY Brickell rises 44 stories and contains 362 fully furnished condominium residences, while The Standard Residences, Brickell will reach 46 stories and include 422 units. Both towers were designed by Arquitectonica.

Allen Morris Co. has secured a $132.5 million construction loan from Bank OZK for Ponce Park, an 11-story condominium development planned at 3000 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables. The financing supports the construction of the mixed-use project, which integrates residential units, ground-floor retail, and improvements to the adjacent Ponce Circle Park. The loan was arranged by Lotus Capital Partners, led by Faisal Ashraf. The financing follows a separate $138.5 million construction loan secured by Allen Morris Co. in November 2025 for its Ziggurat project in Coconut Grove.

Pritzker Prize-winning architect David Chipperfield is designing a 26-story residential tower for Miami’s Design District, marking the area’s first residential development. The project is planned for 39 NE 39th Street and will include 143 condominium residences and a hotel component.

Residence Inn Sunny Isles Beach has completed a full-property renovation, marking a new chapter for the 194-room hotel located at 17700 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. The project reintroduces the property as a residence-style hotel with refreshed interiors and updated amenities, while maintaining the space and functionality associated with the extended-stay brand.
