A 15-story hotel has been proposed at 3001 Alhambra Street in Central Beach, Fort Lauderdale. Roslyn Heights, NY-based Hariom Realty LLC, is developing the 200-foot-tall building. The development is going by the name 42 Hotel and is planned to encompass 90,260 gross square feet of space, including 28,693 square feet of lodging space spread across 75 keys, 984 square feet of ancillary retail, 3,771 square feet of amenities, and 47 parking spaces. Adache Group Architects is listed as the architect, and Andres Escobar is the interior designer.
Coral Rock Development Group, a leading real estate development company based in Coral Gables, has unveiled plans for Dulce Vida, a transformative mixed-use, mixed-income development in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood. The project aligns with Florida’s SB 102 law, which aims to promote mixed-income developments and increase access to affordable housing. Dulce Vida will encompass 200 rental units designed to cater to a diverse range of residents. Of these units, 85 will be designated as affordable housing at 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI), 85 will be allocated for workforce housing at 100% AMI, and 30 units will be available for workforce housing at 120% AMI, providing various housing options for different income levels.
Prominent Southwest Florida developer London Bay Development Group (London Bay) has broken ground on The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay. This milestone signifies the commencement of residential construction for Saltleaf on Estero Bay, which comprises two 22-story towers containing 224 residences. London Bay, city officials, development partners, and friends gathered at the project’s 5,000-square-foot sales gallery at 5000 Coconut Road in Bonita Springs to celebrate the groundbreaking on July 14. Honorary guests included Bonita Springs Mayor Rick Steinmeyer and City Council members Laura Carr and Jamie Bogacz, as well as Lee County Commissioners Cecil Pendergrass and Ray Sandelli.
Lore Development Group has filed plans for a monumental mixed-use project called Summit Brickell at 1015 Southwest 1st Avenue in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. The 69-story tower would activate a 22,712-square-foot land parcel on the southeast corner of SW 1st Avenue and SW 10th Street, adjacent to the Brickell Metromover Station. Designed by Corwil Architects, the nearly 843-foot-tall structure would comprise 875,525 square feet of space, including 500 residential units, 2,174 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and an integrated 11-story garage with 480 parking spaces. July 17, 2023, is listed as the filing date.
