Citadel Leases 90,000 Square Feet Across Six Floors At 830 Brickell In Miami’s Financial District

Ken Griffin’s Citadel, a multinational hedge fund and financial services firm, signed the largest office lease to date at the under construction 830 Brickell, a 55-story Class A-Plus office tower that just recently topped off in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. The firm is taking up 90,000 square feet of space across six floors at the 724-foot-tall tower, which is designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gil Architecture with interiors by Iosa Ghini Associati and developed by Vlad Doronin’s OKO Group and Jonathan Goldstein’s Cain International. Construction is expected to complete later this year, anticipated to yield nearly 640,000 square feet of space. Civic Construction is managing construction with Ant Yapi.

Shoma Group Completes Shoma Village Rental Community In Hialeah, Welcomes It’s First Residents

Miami-based developer Shoma Group completed it’s two-tower multifamily rental community at 445 Hialeah Drive in Hialeah known as  Shoma Village. They began welcoming in the first residents to brand new apartments on August 1, with leasing activities managed by KW Property Management & Consulting and the property managed by Shoma MGMT.  The development is comprised of two 8-story buildings with 304 residences in a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedrooms. 65% of units are already rented and the remaining inventory is expected to be fully leased by the end of summer. Shoma Village was designed by Kendall-based MSA Architects, and Suffolk Construction served as the general contractor along with KD Construction of Florida, LLC as the shell contractor.

New Renderings Showcase Conceptual Design For Acram Group’s Magnolia Tower In Downtown Orlando

New renderings have been unveiled for Magnolia Tower, a 20-story mixed-use highrise proposed for 924 North Magnolia Avenue in the North Quarter District of Downtown Orlando. Designed by Baker Barrios and developed by New York-based Acram Group, formerly JMC Holdings LLC, the project is planned to yield 386 residential units and nearly 35,000 square feet of retail and commercial space within a 220-foot-tall superstructure of three interconnected towers and The development would rise from a 1.67-acre site bound by Weber Street on the north and Pasadena Place on the south. The property is currently home to two office buildings and a surface level parking lot, which would be razed as part of the redevelopment. The project is estimated to cost $96.5 million.

Grover Corlew Proposes 271-Unit Mayla Delray For 1625 South Congress Avenue in Delray Beach

Boca Raton-based Grover Corlew wants to build a 271-unit residential development at 1625 South Congress Avenue in Delray Beach. Dubbed Mayla Delray, the project would be the third in the developer’s portfolio under the Mayla Residences brand and is a response to fill in a need for residential housing as demand continues to grow. The proposal calls for an 8-story structure with Class-A residential units within an existing office complex that sits south of Linton Boulevard and west of the Interstate 95 and CSX train tracks. Of the 271 units, 55 will be set aside for workforce housing, and the development would also bring a string of landscaped plaza features along South Congress Avenue, including a transit stop, that would be linked to existing and proposed buildings
