Platting Intake Submitted For Genting Group And Miami-Dade County’s Monorail Connecting Downtown Miami To Miami Beach

A platting intake has been submitted by Resorts World Miami LLC and Miami-Dade County for the Monorail Transit Subdivision. The filing is in accordance with the proposal to connect Downtown Miami to Miami Beach via a monorail transit system crossing over via the MacArthur Causeway, which is currently in the development stages. The elevated trunkline would begin at Genting Group’s Herald Plaza development site, where Resorts World Miami is planned, and end at Washington Avenue and 5th Street in Miami Beach.

Historic Preservation Board Approves Ocean Terrace Redevelopment And Streetscape Plans On Collins Avenue In Miami Beach

The Historic Preservation Board of the City of Miami Beach has approved the mixed-use Ocean Terrace redevelopment plans and streetscape master plan proposed by developer Ocean Terrace Holdings, led by Sandor Scher and Alex Blavatnik. Plans call for the construction of a 20-story residential tower with 75 units, an 11-story hotel with 127 rooms, and new retail and restaurant venues to be carefully unified with the renovated historic Broadmoor and Ocean Surf properties. Revuelta Architecture International is leading the design of the new construction with R.J. Heisenbottle Architects handling the preservation of the older structures.

CI Financial Signs 20,000-Square-Foot Lease At The 55-Story 830 Brickell Under Construction In Miami’s Financial District

CI Financial Corp will be joining Microsoft as a tenant at the 55-story 830 Brickell Class A+ office tower under construction in Brickell. The Canadian asset and wealth management firm has announced the signing of a 20,000-square-foot lease as they plan to establish a headquarters in the U.S. within Miami’s Financial District. The 724-foot-tall is designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gil with Revuelta Architecture International as the executive architect for developers OKO Group and Cain International, the duo behind Missoni Baia and Una Residences, and Italian architecture and design firm Iosa Ghini Associati is handling interiors.

Renderings Revealed For 851 NE 167th Street, Kobi Karp-Designed Mixed-Use Project In North Miami Beach

The Planning and Zoning Board of North Miami Beach will be reviewing proposals for 851 Northeast 167th Street, a 15-story mixed-use project planned for the city’s general business corridor. Designed by renown architecture firm Kobi Karp with Witkin Hults Design Group as the landscape architect, and developed by North Miami Beach-based Echad Holdings LLC, the proposed application seeks to redevelop the a 91,000-square-foot parcel of land in order to construct a new structure with three towers comprised of a 223 unit hotel, 12,258 square feet of retail space, 3,866 square feet of restaurant space, 77,856 square feet of office space, and a 526 space parking garage…

102-Unit Multifamily Development Proposed For 11350 Dunbar Drive In Richmond Heights

Pre-application plans have been filed with Miami-Dade County’s Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources for the development of a 102-unit multifamily residential complex at 11350 Dunbar Drive in Richmond Heights. Hollywood-based affordable housing developer the Cornerstone Group is listed as the applicant, with Pablo Burgos of Burgos Lanza Architects & Planners onboard for the design. Titled Royal Pointe Apartments, plans call for the construction of four 3-story buildings on 5.05-acres of mostly vacant land, each rising approximately 36-feet in height. The interior lot, owned by Anvil Community Development Corp, is bound by Booker T Washington Boulevard to the south, Carver Drive to the west and Lincoln Boulevard to the east.
