Century Homebuilders Group Propose Redevelopment Of School Property At 110 Phoenetia Avenue In Coral Gables

Century Homebuilders Group seeks approval from the Development Review Committee of Coral Gables for the redevelopment of school property at 110 Phoenetia Avenue. The project is titled Crystal, a 9-story mixed-use building consisting of 177 residential units, 16 ground floor live-work units, 5,500 square feet of educational space for the Crystal Academy, 340 internalized parking spaces and a rooftop amenities deck. The building would rise just over 83-feet and is designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects in the Mediterranean Revival architectural style. Units will come in one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans ranging between 825 and 1,249 square feet; the duplex live-work units will span 1,468 square feet. Witkin Hults + Partners is the landscape architect.

Applications Filed For Two 331-Foot-Tall Buildings At 203 S. Tamarind Avenue In West Palm Beach

Applications have been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for two 331-foot-tall buildings located at 203 South Tamarind Avenue and 150 Clearwater Drive in West Palm Beach. The filings are in relation to a 10-acre transit-oriented development known as Transit Village, which is being led by principal Michael Masonoff and developed in a joint partnership with Globe Invest Limited, the Related Group and BH Group. Approved plans for Transit Village include the development of up to 1.5 million square feet including 308,000 square feet of Class-A office space, a 300-key hotel, 24,000 square feet of retail space, 408 residential units, 12 live-work townhouses and 3,500 square feet of civic/community space. Dallas-based The Beck Group is the architect behind the most recent renderings of the project, which is expected to cost in the range of $500 million to build. The project would rise on city- and county-owned land surrounding the Tri-Rail and Amtrak West Palm Beach transit station.

FAA Approves Ytech’s 1,049-Foot Supertall Skyscraper Proposed For 1428 Brickell Avenue

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved a 1,049-foot supertall skyscraper proposed for 1428 Brickell Avenue in Brickell, Miami. Approved as of January 14, 2022, the developer behind the application is Miami-based real estate developer Ytech who was represented by Benjamin Doyle of Capitol Airspace Group. The property is elevated 9-feet above sea level, which would give rise to a 1,040-foot-tall structure, for a maximum cumulative height of 1,049-feet. The interior lot occupies approximately 20% of the city block, spanning 49,983 square feet with frontage along Brickell Avenue. The city block is bound by Southwest 14th Street on the north, Southeast 15th Street on the south and South Miami Avenue on the west.
