Renderings have been revealed via a new proposal for a mixed-use development named URBAN22 in Edgewater, Miami. Officially addressed as 2200 Northeast 2nd Avenue, the plans call for the construction of a 708,119-square-foot structure consisting of two 15-story towers rising from a multi-floor podium. The City of Miami Planning and Zoning Department is currently reviewing the application/proposal for the site, who’s owner are members of the Melo Group filed under Cardinal Plaza Corporation.

YIMBY recently spotted activity at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando, the site of an upcoming mixed-use development known as Society Orlando. The developers behind the project, Property Markets Group and Raven Capital Management, are establishing the Society Living hospitality brand in the city with plans for a two-tower structure topping out at 28-stories. Due to the pandemic, construction has been delayed for several months, and now seeing movement on the site could mean the tower could be going vertical soon.

Developers Royal Palm Companies and OneWorld Developers anticipate the construction of their proposal for the Legacy Hotel & Residences at the Miami Worldcenter development. Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design Inc., the mixed-use tower is expected to rise approximately 659-feet into the Miami skyline across 50 floors. According to the permit filing, the site is addressed as 930 Northeast 1st Avenue, sitting diagonally across from Paramount Miami Worldcenter.
