Massing renderings have been revealed via a proposal for the construction of an 8-story mixed-use building titled Merrick Place in the West Perrine neighborhood of Miami-Dade County. Designed by Corwil Architects and developed by HTG Merrick, Ltd., the structure could yield up to 120 units spread across 89,160 square feet of residential space, as well as 1200 square feet of commercial space and a surface parking lot with 111 spaces.

Façade Installation Nears Completion On Lake Nona Wave Hotel In Orlando

Façade installation is nearing completion on Lake Nona Wave Hotel, a 17-story hospitality building under construction in the Lake Nona Region of Orlando. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by the Tavistock Development Company, the approximately 199-foot-tall structure will yield 234 guest rooms, featuring 18 suites, spread across 234,248 square feet including 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The project is located on 2.1 acres of land currently addressed as 6714 Tavistock Lakes Boulevard on what is considered to be Block 3 of Phase 2 in the Lake Nona Town Center Master Plan.

A 270-unit multi-family project has been proposed to the Planning and Zoning Design Review Committee of Fort Lauderdale at 427 Northeast 1st Avenue in the Flagler Village neighborhood. Encompassing the addresses between 409 – 433 NE 1st Ave., the property spans 10 parcels of land on the eastern side of the interior lot bounded by NE 5th St. to the north, NE 4th St. to the south and N Andrews Ave. to the west. The site is just 4 blocks away from the Brightline Fort Lauderdale train station. ECI Flagler Village LLC, an affiliate company of Edgewater Capital Investments, is the owner of the application.

Renderings Revealed For Miami Design District Commuter Rail Station + Conceptual Towers

Renderings and drawings have been unveiled in a presentation to City Commissioners of Miami for the plans to build a commuter rail station along Brightline’s tracks connected to two towers in the Design District. The new station would be built just north of the Interstate 195 and south of NE 39th St., parallel to North Federal Highway, and the towers along Biscayne Boulevard. Miami Design District Associates, a joint venture between Craig Robin’s Dacra and L Catterton Real Estate, is the developer behind the recent presentation, and principal owner of the thriving Miami Design District.
