Related And Merrimac Announce 31-Story ‘The Crosby’ At Miami Worldcenter

The Related Group, one of South Florida’s most active condo developers, and Merrimac Ventures, led by the Motwani Brothers, have teamed up for the development of The Crosby, a 31-story residential tower announced to rise at 601 North Miami Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter complex. The project is comprised of 450 fully furnished units ranging between 350 square feet to 825 square feet, configured in studio, one-bedroom and two bedroom floor plans; over 22,000 square feet of amenities and 4,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Residences at The Crosby will have no rental restrictions, meaning owners will have the option to offer their units as short-term rentals. Miami Lakes-based Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates, the architect behind the 43-story Caoba tower, is leading the design with New York City-based AvroKO named as the interior designer.

Plans have been filed with the Development Review Committee for 10 Hendricks Isle, a 5-story marina-front residential condominium building located in Fort Lauderdale. Designed by FSMY Architects + Planners and developed by Hendricks Group LLC, the proposal includes the construction of a 55-foot-tall structure with situated on a 30,000-square-foot parcel of land, projected to yield 52,440 square feet of space including 16 dwelling units and 35 parking spaces. The property is located just off of Las Olas Boulevard in between Venice Isle and Nurm Isles. Botek Thurlow Engineering, Inc. is listed as the civil engineer with Barranco-RLA, Inc. as the landscape architect.

Renderings Revealed For Proposed Twin ‘DNA’ Towers With 612-Units At 300 & 330 N. Andrews Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

Renderings from Sieger Suarez Architects have been revealed for two identical towers of 40 and 45 stories proposed as a mixed-use development at 300 and 330 North Andrews Avenue in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. New York City and Fort Lauderdale-based developer BH3 is planning on developing 1,428,920 square feet of space across two 500-foot-tall structures including 612 residential units, 56,317 square feet of commercial space across the first two levels, and a 7-story parking garage with 890 parking spaces. The proposed height for the towers would add them to the ranks of the tallest buildings in Fort Lauderdale if approved. EGS2 Corp is listed as the landscaping architect with Orlando-based Graef as the civil engineer.

The FAA Receives Applications For A 596-Foot-Tall Structure In Fort Lauderdale

The Federal Aviation Administration received applications seeking approval for a 596-foot-tall structure, or 600-feet above sea level, in Downtown Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2022. The coordinates listed in the applications indicate the building would be generally located on the southern portion of the city block bound by Southwest 2nd Street (Himmarshee Street) on the South, Southwest 4th Avenue on the West, Nugent Avenue on the East and West Broward Boulevard on the North. The property borders the 4.2-acre development assemblage where Broward Crossing is planned. Four lots included in the assemblage span 76,000 square feet, which includes 111 Southwest 3rd Avenue, 301 and 329 Southwest 2nd Streets, and approximately 125 Southwest 4th Avenue. assemblage where Broward Crossing is planned. Society Orlando’s Concrete Superstructure Continues Vertical Ascent In Downtown Orlando

Construction continues to rise on Society Orlando, a 330-foot-tall, 26-story mixed-use development at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando. Designed by Orlando-based Baker Barrios and being developed by Miami and New York City-based Property Markets Group (PMG) alongside investment partner Raven Capital Management (Raven), the project consists of a pair of towers that will yield a combined 707 residential units under PMG’s Society Living brand with approximately 36,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. The first phase of the development is making rapid vertical progress with John Moriarty & Associates as the general contractor.
