Turnberry Proposes 14-Story Office Building Beside Aventura Mall And Near Upcoming Brightline Station

Turnberry Associates, the developer behind the Turnberry Ocean Club Residences in Sunny Isles Beach and the upcoming Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, has filed plans for Two Turnberry, a 14-story glass-clad Class-A office tower proposed for 2750 Northeast 199th Street near Aventura Mall and the new Aventura Brightline Station currently under construction. The development would connect the Aventura Mall to the Brightline station via a pedestrian bridge crossing over Biscayne Boulevard and Dixie Highway.Designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica, the building would include approximately 240,000 square feet office space, 20,000 square feet of retail space, a 20,000-square-foot landscaped amenity deck and 720 parking spaces.

Mast Capital Plans Extensive Renovation Of Newly Purchased 480-Acre Saddlebrook Resort Property In Tampa

Miami-based real estate developer Mast Capital just recently closed on the 480-acre Saddlebrook Resort  Located in Tampa’s Wesley Chapel area at 5700 Saddlebrook Way, the property is home to a condo-hotel resort, 45 tennis courts, two 18-hole golf courses, and a tennis academy where some of the world’s top tennis players trained, including Jim Courier, Pete Sampras, Jennifer Capriati, Martina Hingis, James Blake, Mardy Fish, Andy Roddick, Jack Sock, Bob & Mike Bryan, Alexander Zverev, Mischa Zverev and John Isner. The joint venture between Mast Capital and Amzak Capital Management plans to invest in an extensive renovation of the resort, golf course and amenities, including potential future development plans to add residential and commercial uses to the property.

Atlantic Pacific Communities Gets FAA Permits For 36-Story ‘Block 45’ And Two Tower Cranes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has given multi-family real estate developer Atlantic Pacific Communities the green light for the construction of Block 45, a 36-story transit-oriented mixed-use building planned for 152 Northwest 8th Street in Miami’s Overtown District. Permits for the 395-foot-tall structure were approved on February 22, 2022 along with permits allowing the assemblage of two tower cranes on the property of 303-feet and 450-feet for vertical construction. Block 45, which was recently submitted to Miami-Dade County planners, is designed by Coral Gables-based Corwil Architects and is proposed to yield 616 residential units, 24,865 square feet of retail space and 605 parking spaces. Architectural Alliance Landscape is the landscape architect.

JDS Development Group Gets Utilities Deal With Miami-Dade County For 1 Southside Park in Brickell

JDS Development Group has signed a utilities deal with Miami-Dade County’s Water and Sewer Department for 1 Southside Park, a 62-story two-towered mixed-use development planned to rise 708-feet and 754-feet in Brickell, Miami. With site work already underway, the deal will connect the buildings to Miami’s water supply and sewer lines, providing utilities for 1,195 apartments, 200 hotel rooms, 165,000 square feet of office space, an 86,151-square-foot spa, a 23,312-square-foot full service restaurant, 1,417 square feet of fast food space, a 5,120-square-foot banquet hall, a 13,673-square-foot fitness center and a 32,000-square-foot fire station. The buildings are designed by New York City’s SHoP Architects with James Corner Field Operations as the landscape architect.
