Two Roads Plans Redevelopment Of Biscayne 21 Property With Three 649-Foot-Tall Residential Skyscrapers

Two Roads Development (Two Roads), the developer behind a multitude of successful large scale residential projects in South Florida including the 57-story Elysee Miami and the 52-story Biscayne Beach towers, has unveiled several details on their plans to redevelop a massive 149,000-square-foot bay front property in Edgewater. Poised to become their third development in the neighborhood, the firm is undertaking an ambitious effort to erect three mammoth luxury residential skyscrapers at 2121 North Bayshore Drive. The property is currently improved with the aging 11-story Biscayne 21 Condominium, completed in 1964, and is set to be replaced by structures reaching the maximum allowed FAA height of 649-feet.

The Krymwood Hotel Proposed For 176 Northwest 28th Street In Wynwood, Miami

Wynwood’s Design Review Committee has received plans for the  Krymwood Hotel, an 8-story mixed-use building proposed to be constructed at 176 Northwest 28th Street. The project would be located in the heart of the neighborhood, near the Wynwood Walls with frontages on both Northwest 28th and 29th streets, bound by Northwest 2nd Avenue to the west and Northwest 1st Avenue to the east. Designed by New York City-based architecture firm MKDA for Florida Art Services LLC, a joint venture between developer Michael Krymchantowski and QKapital Group, the development would rise 123-feet and comprise 72,369 square feet of new construction including 60 units mixed between residential and lodging uses. The ground floor would have 4,903 square feet of commercial space and there would no parking for vehicles.

Shoma Group Acquires 2.5-Acre Site Near Coral Gables To Develop Two 18-Story Mixed-Use Towers Designed By MSA Architects

Miami-based developer Shoma Group (Shoma) has purchased a 2.5-acre site at 3650 Bird Road, currently home to Deel Volvo, near Coral Gables for $34 million. The property, bound by Douglas Road to the west and Metrorail’s elevated railway to the south, will be cleared to make way for  Shoma One, a two-towered 18-story mixed-use development designed by MSA Architects with 391-unit apartment community and a Shoma Bazaar food hall. The development is scheduled to break ground in January 2023 and is expected to be completed in 18-24 months with an estimated cost of $220 million to build.
