Kolter Urban To Develop A 24-Story Residential Tower On Florida’s Paradise Coast

The Palm Beach, Florida-based real estate development and investment firm Kolter Urban has announced plans for The Island at West Bay Club, a 24-story tower located at 22050 South Tamiami Trail in Estero, Florida, within the West Bay Club community on Florida’s Paradise Coast. Designed by Garcia Stromberg Architects, this tower will feature 86 residences, each offering spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico and West Bay Club’s championship golf course. In addition, the development will include a variety of signature resort-style amenities designed to provide world-class living within the comforts of a close-knit community. Suffolk Construction is the general contractor, and Compass Realty handles sales and marketing.

A Site Plan Level III application for a 12-story mixed-use development at 730 Northeast 4th Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale was officially submitted for review on November 14. The 163-foot-tall structure would include 77 multifamily residential units and 1,682 square feet of commercial space. The developing entity is 730 NE 4th Avenue LLC – an affiliate of West Long Branch, NJ-based entities Albo Group, LLC, and TRL PROPERTY USA LLC, with MODE Architects as the architect. Flynn Engineering Services, P.A., serves as the civil engineer/land planner, EcoPlan as the landscape architect, and DC Engineers as the traffic consultant.

West Palm Beach-based real estate firm Shoreham Capital has broken ground on Siesta Lakes, a 412-unit Class-A rental community in Cape Coral, Florida, in partnership with Bridge Investment Group and Wynkoop Financial. The team secured a $66 million construction loan, and Curran Young Construction (CYC) has been selected as the general contractor. The project is expected to be completed by Q2 2025.

Visions Resort & Spa has officially broken ground, marking the start of construction on the initial phase of the $170 million mixed-use resort community. Designed by Concepto Taller de Arquitectura with interiors by CastillonVanHam and developed by Urban Network Capital Group (UNCG) in partnership with Vertical Developments, the wellness-forward master-planned community will feature luxury single-family homes and townhomes, a 180-unit condo-hotel, and 70,000 square feet of retail space. A recent submission of site plans to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has revealed the design for Two Riverside, a proposed 59-story mixed-use skyscraper at 99 Southwest 7th Street in Brickell. The design, created by Brandow Haw Architecture with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and developed by Newgard Group, showcases a slender, 730-foot-tall structure. It is set to offer approximately 520,631 square feet of space, encompassing 271,605 square feet of residential area across 169 units and 1,090 square feet dedicated to ground-floor retail. The adjacent One Riverside project will provide the necessary vehicle and bike parking, where Newgard Group is also developing two other towers, including the 44-story Lofty Brickell. The proposal is scheduled for review on November 15.
